Lost Neighbours..Where does the time go...

Went to look at me neighbour list today, I admit, I am not very active and only play events, I don't seem to have the inspiration to do designs or sort out the clutter in my inventory. Anyway, whilst there, I saw someone who hadn't been active for more than a year, so went on a purge....
But got a shock... with all that's going on I seem to have missed a few people leaving game...
@tapebelt was gone for over a year... which I seem to remember seeing something about how he may have quit... but didn't realise that was over a dang year ago...
Then the bigger shock.. @daved7637397 hadn't been seen for 41 weeks... like.. Say Wha! .. I thought he'd never quit...
Other active players, who didn't post on the forum have left as well...
2020 is truly a weird year that'll take some time to get over..

If it ever ends........................ Aaaarrrghh!
😱😱😱😱😱
If more land was released I'd carry on playing, but there's little point in trying to play a game whose main attraction is designing a town, when you can't,you know, design...
Which reminded me of a New Years Eve meme I found funny on the day...
I hear what you're saying, plus an increase in the item limit would help as well, as a lot of people want.... I want to design but I've got sooo much stuff in the inventory it will take to long to find everything I want, plus my town is filled with bonus% items, like tennis courts, so I can build up a reserve to buy premium items during events...
Not today, not tomorrow, maybe not next year... But the game is going to end. When the game ends all your precious designs are going to go poof. No, there will be no standalone version of the game to let you keep designing. Your town will just be gone. So:
Start taking screen shots. Because that's all you'll have left. Then once you have screenshots you can dump the old stuff and make new designs. And take screenshots of them. And dump those for the new stuff, and take screenshots of that. And on, and on, and on, until EA dumps this game in the trash because they're not making enough money from it to justify keeping it going.
Everything is transient.
I have plenty of screenshots and town portraits. I've ripped up designs to condense my town and make new ones. I'm beyond that point now though. Just seems stupid that you would intentionally shrink your customer base. I've seen the modded games. The land is there to be used. Give me the heights land and I'll carry on playing and giving EA my money. It's a good game and I've enjoyed my 5+ years. But soon it'll be tears in rain time. And that's up to them.
Why not expand your town to squidport?. I moved a lot of my buildings and decorations there! I saved a lot of space and I still have many available areas to design.
You need to learn to take the advice of Sheryl Crow and Learn to Soak Up the Sun.
On a very basic tablet, running an old version of Android the game works fine with the extra land unlocked so you're mistaken on that part.
You need to learn not to be so highhanded, condescending and downright rude but I don't see that happening.
Pretty darn sure you don't know about the well respected, and HUGE knowledge wadebear has on programming and IT...
Fwiw I never flagged so at least I'm not the only one who thinks so. Respected? I've seen them be rude to the likes of Muhsterino and Ellie G(people who deserve to be respected) so no.
IT knowledge? Maybe, but in this instance they are mistaken. The land is there. Someone has to type in 'enabled'. That is it. Old devices can handle it. Also in other thread not a million miles away they have advocated for extra land costing billions so I can only assume I'm being trolled.
