I have had great stability and speed with the game since krustyland came out
please do not make any changes
Ditto no issues for me. I think it might be your internet connection.
When Krustyland first launched it would crash like once a day, but the past week have been error free (knocks on wood).
My internet connection is one of the best and fastest in my country, so that is far from the issue... (It's due to the fact that my internet is hooked towards the internet which the closeby University uses, and I am not living in a third world country - and I don't intend to be rude towards someone that does).
up to the last update I had no issues with my game but since level 33 update from about 3pm (UK time) onwards my game keeps crashing. Visiting neighbours is particularly difficult with it crashing after every neighbour visited. It's getting to be a real pain as I like to play in the evening when I'm watching telly.

I agree, it definitely got even worse when level 33 came. And I am not too far from UK, might be it's just us in Europe having an issue...
Well, I had no troubles with this, except once in awhile, before KL. Now it happens daily, but only in the middle of the day...
@MaxxSpider: Might be you play on a different platform and/or device than me...
Do you maybe have another device you could try? I have troubles too but strangely only with my ipod. Iphone and app player on PC work perfectly fine. Test if it's your internet connection. Download another game that needs a constant connection with the server and see if that works (e.g. I think Restaurant Story works like that).
If it's not your internet, open a ticket with EA. It's no use silently fuming over it and then giving up the game, without giving EA a fair chance of fixing it.
Today is the first time I've had trouble. Trying to get on about 11am Central US time while on my lunch break. I too am getting the loading screen. I guess I'll try back when I get home from work.

I play on iphone 4 at work at work and ipad retina at home

Sadly I have no other device than my Samsung phone I can play it on, but I know for a fact that it's NOT the internet connection, as I use my internet for loads of other things daily, and NEVER have any issues with any of them...

Maybe it's the fact that you're using the same internet as a University. They tend to use a lot of bandwith.
Having issues connecting is really on a specific device to device basis. Sometimes i get the spinning donut even though i know i have a great connection (WiFi or network). All i do is run Advanced Task Killer (android) which soft closes all selected applications (not the same as force close in apps) and i can connect instantly afterwards.
Im sure this would help many many users on Android that have occasional spinning donut issues.
I know the Simpsons Tapped Out likes to use the latest and greatest devices by Apple and Samsung and Google, etc.
My sister was playing on Ipod Touch gen 2, and missed Halloween last year because it required a particular IOS version that was not supported on Gen 2. So she has like the Racecar, but missed Halloween and missed the Balloons from Thanksgiving until getting a new device at Xmas.
So if you had your device for 2+ years it could be it's struggling to run on it properly.
FYI. I'm not trying to be mean or rude with either of my posts, just posting possibilities from what others have reported.
Else it may be the bandwidth used at the University.

It is definitely not an issue with the internet connection, I experienced similar issues with several disconnects per day when I was not able to log into Origin either. For whatever funny reason they decided to log me out of Origin 3-4 times daily for the past week ...
FWIW I use an iPad of latest generation, thus no old device scenario either.
I'm finding it really tough to connect as well. I've barely been able to make money in game since the update came out for lvl 33. I get the Bart error screen, and it's logged me out of Origin at one point too. I'm getting these connection problems on both ipad mini and iPhone 4. On both broadband wifi and 3G mobile signal. At home and while out. So I can on,y see it being a server issue.
I was having massive issues yesterday when the update landed was being constantly kicked out of the game every 2-5mins very annoying when trying to spend donuts, all seems to have gone back to normal now tho

Thanks for the tip! This will certainly be something I will test out.
@GamerGD3: I know you are not trying to be mean, and I am not trying to be harsh back. I were just stating it wasn't a connection issue. Anyway, thanks for you input
@ephphoneapps: Certainly, at times there will be a huge amount of traffic at the broadband I'm connected too, but this University has a strict policy, if you download/upload for more than 10 gigs per 24 hours, you'll get banned for 48 hours. This has secured that the capacity of the net never gets too overloaded. Sure at times it has happened, but as people haven't really started at the University until next week, I can't believe this has been the cause of the issue. Espescially since none of my other devices have any trouble, like pc, ps3, DVR(if that's what you call it in US?) and the like. Seems I'm not alone in having issues either.
Anyway, today seems to be the first day in almost a week I haven't had the issues... so far... (Hope I don't jinx it, but because I say this, I probably doublejinx it, so I'll be fine, unless this counts as a triple jinx...)
I know I'm pushing my luck by posting this, BUT, I've been playing since Christmas 2012 and have yet to experience any of the awful glitches. I am beginning to think the developers are using my same equipment.
