New log on problem-Verification codes

Getting request to validate email by receiving email code to enter. Account is verified and tells you to go back to email to continue. Nothing there. Then you are asked again to log in and the process repeats. Can’t get any farther. Anyone else in same boat ?

    not in the same boat but annoyed that they have even done this in the first place.
    I have several accounts on the same device - shared device - and to have to do this everytime the game needs to log in is rediculous. I can understand once to verify but not every time and its not like we have a choice. Passwords were fine for me.
    Unless EA get this sorted then I will be dropping this game after playing it for so long, its a shame they had to go spoil it.

    yes, me, just entered the code sent on email & it says its Incorrect?? EH??

    Was in the same boat but then realised Google isn't case sensitive but EA is. I had my address as GMail and I couldn't get on till I changed it to gmail.
    This change has probably come about to try to thwart hacking groups so we'll have to live with it.
  • Same loop of getting code, then nothing. I’ve loved playing this game, looks like I’ll have to find something else to do now.
  • Did an uninstall, phone off & on, downloaded game, tried to login - sent me a new code this time - didnt work, 2nd new code didnt work either.
    Please fix EA? :'(

    If I go to log into TSTO and enter my email and click "Log in" I'm asked for the verification code which *has been sent to my email address*. But, the only way I can get to my email (to see what verification code is) is to swipe/close TSTO cuz I can't have TSTO screen open at the same time as my email.

    If I get the verify code they sent, and then reopen TSTO, I need to enter the email address again.

    Will the verify code they sent me before, work for the new log in?

    DID that make ANY sense?

    The verification code they send lasts for about ten minutes and then changes. So you can get the number and then return to the game and use it.

    My bigger problem is I can’t get into one email account, I hadn’t accessed it in a while so the closed it. That town will probably die now.

    Just spoke with EA. Sounds like it is a glitch that occurred post update and affected people globally. They are working on it now.[/

    Spyder1952850 has the correct workaround. I play on an iPad but if I get my code from my phone email and enter it into my iPad it works fine. However why the ‘paste’ button and why the instructions to go back to email. Seems like testing is a little weak. Hope this helps everyone and thanks for the input

    I’m in the same boat. Pretty much a daily player for 9+ years, a little less lately due to the events being structured identically, but no way for me to access my sign in email any longer.

    I don’t see this being good.

    I’m not starting over.

    It's a glitch and according to a post (about the 7th post above this one), EA is aware of the problem and they are working on it.

    But it does appear that we need two devices, though another post (about 9 posts above This one) the emailed code is good for ten minutes so maybe one device will be okay. 🤐🤐🤐
