People who use apple products love to pay more than android users for the same things, it makes them feel smug and superior.

At least apple is giving me a way to make purchases without a credit card, something google play still hasn't managed.

Hmm, what's the exchange rate between Euros and Dollars then? Because a boatload on my I-phone says $99.99 in U.S. dollars. A store is 49.99. A truckload is 19.99. A tray of 132 is 9.99. A stack of 60 is 4.99. and a dozen is 1.99

$ 99.99 is currently about € 75. Basically the Android price is the correct amount in Dollars whereas there's a 20.6 % markup in the iOS store.

Aren't the prices the same in the US? I'm pretty sure whenever I've seen iOS prices posted they are the same on my Android.

What do you mean? You don't need a credit card. Google offers Google Play gift cards at most retailers.

My Android device doesn't show the prices, so I haven't been able to compare. I started on IOS and moved to Android when it got Origin. I will be back to IOS when I got my iPad around Christmas (freaking hating Android).

It's probably a Euro thing then. I can confirm that iOS is really charging the more expensive price because I bought a tray full a while ago. But I can't confirm that google play is charging the less expensive price because I don't have a credit card on file to purchase anything with.

Is there maybe a Euro-using-European on Android in the forum who can confirm that these are the real prices in the google play store?

I live in Sweden and use Android. The price for a boatload is 749 SEK. That is about €81 with current exchange rate (forex.com).

Could it be a tax issue? Bluestacks might not be reporting your location correctly so you're not seeing the correct VAT...that's all I can think. I borrowed an iPad last week to use an iTunes voucher I'd been given and the price was the same as I see on Android (that was in £).

That could very well be it. Google play does recognize the correct country I'm in, but who knows how BlueStacks is influencing that.
