Old event quests

Hi all,

I didn’t play the Springfield enlightened event because i was far too busy rebuilding my town after nuking it. When it ended i got a message saying ‘don't worry you can still finish the quests etc’ now they are still there and it is really annoying because i can’t send my characters that can collect for the enlightened event on jobs without selecting each one. Anyone know how long these quests will stick around?

You can only finish the part you are on, not the whole event. They will stay until you do them

Thats annoying i don’t really want to finish them. I have lots of other stuff to do. Will they ever just go away?

I have these quest to on my second town and find it very annoying.

@fuzznugget77 - you might not have seen this before so . . .
Ignore a quest for long enough and they get archived, sorta - an icon like a storage box at the end of your taskbook list will show up with old quests stuffed into it.
They'll still be in the task count but stay out of your way until it suits you to deal with them or you've finished all the other tasks and they're all that remains for you to do
( tap that icon to see what's there and tap it again to "pack them away" )

It's free stuff, why wouldn't you just do it during downtime

cause there's no down time it's event after event now

Yeah exactly that, as i am a returning player from way back i am also trying to catch up on the level quests as well. Also rebuilt my town after a nuke. I just don’t want half an events worth of character and days of tapping just to get them.

there is usually a week between events, this last one was an exception because the previous event was extended a week
It takes 2 minutes to reset the tasks
You can contact EA and beg them to remove them if it annoys you that much

Like fuzznuggett77, I’m back after a few year lapse (no devise and came back about 6 weeks ago and old quests from 2017-18 were alive and well in archive. Was definitely annoying but I just picked em off bit at a time. Most were connected to new buildings so…

You can totally ignore them till you feel like doing them but apparently they don’t actually go away
