Just had an email from ea for a password reset

Just got an email from ea for a password reset but i didn't ask for it. I looked at my email and it looks like someone tried 6 times to get a reset. It was between 1:56 and 2am. It wasn't me. i was awoken by a phone call which was a wrong number and i saw the email notification.
Keep an eye out fellow tappers incase it happens to you.

I certainly appreciate a warning from a long time forum member that someone was actively trying to hack his EA account. We may all be their next target. I'll be more mindful of it now.

Wait, maybe it was Mr One Post up there.

@ndnxbnz Ok the password is redundant at the moment but with the problem getting codes through can fetch the password setting back. Also the password is still used for the forum.

Yeah i was thinking that too the funny thing is i got my last password request about the time of their post to me and I've not had anymore. I had 13 in total

@ndnxbnz in no was was @4junk3000 was attacking you he said maybe it was mr one post. Again its speculative as maybe you did or maybe you didn't, he didn't say it was you directly and certainly not attacking you in any way whatsoever. So have a nice day 😊

Good grief. For the longest time I was an ‘onlooker’ because of crap like this. Makes new people stay away and the forum become less active. Trying to disguise the attack as indirect (by not naming directly and being vague) to avoid moderation/TOS repercussions is evident to anyone reading this thread. Hopefully the forum becomes more welcoming to new posters who dare to share their opinion. Jeez.

Wow just wow. So you're implying that we're attacking this member? We didn't do anything of sorts? I said i was thinking it, in no way did i mention the person so i didn't do anything wrong. I didn't name the person. Also @4junk3000 again said maybe and didn't say the person did. We can't say anything else as that would be accusing. Thinking isn’t the same as actually accusing.

Davo has every right to start a new thread that he feels is "game related". Sounds like classic trolling to me: screw with people's accounts and if anyone mentions it try to blame the victim while garnering sympathy for oneself instead.

@Grreedykid my name isn't davo its nick its just @4junk3000 made a mistake. Reason why i posted here is because I'm making aware other tappers incase they were getting them too ok the password system isn't used at the moment it could come back.

@Grreedykid thanks. Its been doing my head in I've had about 40 password reset emails that have come through just glad they haven't hacked my email address that would be terrible as that email address is very important.
