Both "Maggie May" and "Reason To Believe" were the top singles. I used to know but have since forgotten how two singles can share the top spot but it has to do with them being the A-side and B-side of the same record.

I did this a while ago with Movies the year you were born. Thought it would be fun to do The number one single the week you were born.

    Here's mine

    Disco Lady by Johnnie Taylor

    Never heard of it

You should know this song. Disco Stu sings a small part of it on an episode. The one where Marge breaks her leg at the ski resort.

My song is Endless Love by Diana Ross and Lionel Ritchie.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. :-)
If I had actually listened to the song I would have recognised it. :-P

I just did for you, because I remember that song-- although the original version by Dionne Warwick. I wasn't aware Cilla Black had a hit with it in the UK. I was eight.

    So I amnot the oldest?

Lets wait for Al Martino...... the very first uk number 1 (1953)

And by the way, its not that I remember...... its that I set pub quizzes :-o
