It looks like it's been done on purpose. Because the cap still goes up from level to level, but doesn't go up between levels. :?

It really is better to keep it this way. It gives people a way to get bonus donuts without having to cheat.

but the dolphins were evil and Simpsons Halloween episodes are ALWAYS crazy and unrealistic

Dolphins would be cool. However, I'm hopping for Homer Clones. You could squash the and they could say something funny. Or when you tap the real Homer he could yell at you.
