Donut purchase

Anyone else here having issues purchasing donuts as when I try to purchase them it keeps telling me that I already own this item and returns me to the game.

Same. I've been having this issue all morning. No matter what denomination.

Try this if you can

Make sure you have an EA account that you use to log in and out
Install the game on a different device, can be Android or IOS.
If the device is someone's else's and they also play Tapped out, make sure they have their own account and do not play anonymously as they will lose their town if they do not.
Log into your own town on the new device
Collect all quests and houses/business money in your town
Go to friend screen
Go to Other Springfield
Tap the 3 actions in that town
Go back to the friend screen and LOG OUT
Go back to your main device
You should be able to play normally
If you still have issues, contact EA directly through the game

Thanks for the ideas but already tried 3 different devices, uninstall/reinstall, clear cache, restart device, turn off device, tried via WiFi and mobile data, sync the game, visit neighbours, collect everything and still the same error.


Guess it's time to contact EA support and see if they are as helpful as the last few times I contacted them (useless).

Had exactly the same problem last time the ran an event where you had to purchase a certain amount of donuts to unlock a prize track, spent a fortnight chatting with support and got absolutely nowhere, they said they would forward my issue to the development team eventually but by then the event was over, I have zero issues purchasing donuts at any other time even the ones that have a specific bonus/prize with them work fine just these type fail every time, guess I'll have to wait for them to return in the mystery box next year and EA will have to do without my cash.

those directions were directly from EA and if you followed them exactly and it did not work, contact EA for help

Have already emailed them so expect a response in a few days asking me to try what I've already done closely followed after my response with a we have passed your message to the developer and closed your case, never to hear anything again.

It’s enough to make me not want to spend that AUD$80. I made it as far as buying a gift card before baulking at the risk.

I bit the bullet and bought the prizetrack. I haven't done this before so I got a bit nervous when only the first prize popped up for placement. A bit of patience and all the items appeared one after the other.

I was fully prepared to lose the money. If it didn't work there's no way I'd spend the time and energy dealing with EA.

I'd love to purchase the prize track as I have wanted the tall guy and mini for years but no joy trying to get them, fails every time I try, heard absolutely nothing back from support yet so it's looking like I'll have to wait for them item to return in the future, oh well if EA don't want my money I'll find someone else who does.

Of all the prizetracks to have this happen - what a bummer. Miracles happen tho, when it comes to giving *them* money maybe they'll be respond soonish.

I almost bought it tonight.

But before i commit, i have to know exactly how much time it's going to save me acquiring the new land. Has anyone calculated that yet??

What does the last building in the prize track pay out donuts or cash ??

If you purchase the 900 donut prize, do you get all the prizes for the lower amounts as well? I think that we were able to do that before.

Yes, if you purchase the 900 donuts option then you get everything from the prize track (all items including the bonus tokens).

I'm going to have a hard decision to make when I get my check. The only thing I really want is the jackpot Realty. 50 bucks though...
