New Frontier Monorail Bridge

Is anyone having issues connecting this item to their monorail?

My town's monorail was set up around the 2 monorail tunnels that go through the mountain sections.
Coming through from the main playing area up into heights at one side of my map and down through the second tunnel back into the main area again.

but no matter which part i use and in what combination, there's NO WAY to connect the bridge to these tunnels?
An error with the design, or is it meaning I have to redesign everything monorail again ?

  • I would expect it to be a bug that will be patched asap. They must maintain sync with the mountains, as the tunnels can't be placed just anywhere
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

I hope so, seems a waste of time including it otherwise
  • When does the monorail bridge appear so you can purchase it? - not in my store yet..
after you have completed the 1st part & got Connie Appleseed? or after you have completed all 5?
when does the task to repair the bridge appear?
  • Didn't we have the same issue when SH was first introduced?🙄

  • Wouldn’t a monorail to the frontier make it not a frontier anymore?
  • Depends on weather or not yer on a Disney property 😏

It's fine as long as the frontier is the end of the line.
  • I thought I had a workaround to the bridge problem using another two tunnels through the mountains (for a total of four). But the new tunnels don't have track sections. Are these not meant to be used for the monorail?

Just figured this out. Those tunnels are only for roads. You can't put monorail track through them. Grrrrr....

  • Yeeeeeaahhh
    They fixed it

    YES! It works :-D
  • Can the Monorail Bridge be stored?
Whoa, whoa, whoa – I only accept cash, bitcoin, or GameStop stock.
  • Can the Monorail Bridge be stored?

Yes. (It's the new tunnels that can't be stored.)

Now, can we please have more stations? You can make fake ones with some of the expansion pieces, but we really, really need more stations at which the monorail will stop.

The new tunnels can now be stored since last patch.

You say it's been fixed, but I still cannot get monorail from Springfield to align with the monorail tunnels! Not without changing all my existing track which would be a massive PITA. It's off by half a short section. An easy fix would be for them to introduce a quarter length straight track. Until then, I can't connect.
  • The monorail bridges are different things to the monorail tunnels. To get the monorail to line up you have to work from the tunnel out. Sorry. If you want it to all connect you'll have to move all your track.
  • The mountain tunnels dictate the path and ideally should be placed first to confirm proper alignment to the grid. Its annoying. Simple fix is make SH line a separate train line
