Removable Mountains...

I'm interested in how many people have designs that took advantage of that glitch. Can you post some pics of your missing mountain designs please??

No design pictures yet. But there is potential. The first shows pre-event corner where SH heights ended (black arrow) and where the mountains should have met. (Red arrow)

This is how it looks after the event started. I removed about 3 squares north of where SH ended.

These are mountains you removed during the glitch, ages ago? Interesting choice of location. Will be interesting to see how you terminate that trench. I'm going to send you a friend req next time I'm in game, so i can follow your progress.

Be careful not to place a new mountain tunnel there. It will likely restore the missing permanent mountains too. I made this mistake back then

The glitch I used for this was just after we got the castle that you could put in the mountains. Yes putting a tunnel in the mountain line will restore the mountains there. Now I have two tunnels that will never move.

What? The castle also made mountains vanish when you stored it? Awwww i wish i had read about that here! I would have removed all of them lol

Darn it!! Not only have I missed both mountain removal glitches but I screwed up and got 3 tunnels-long story, suffice it to say, “Don’t Drink and Tap” but now I can’t get rid of the excess tunnels (don’t store nor sell) AND I can’t build a cool section of towns crossing into each other!

On another note, so far between the tokens and the yearbook, I’ve added 59+ new characters and buildings to my town and I haven’t been off the stupid game or slept since, um, What day is it?

Edit: It’s been fixed! I can now hide my drunk tapping! Thank You, EA! Now my secret is safe

I tried to add you, keeps saying “No matches found. Try a different search.” Maybe you should try to add me. Don’t expect too much designing, I had to nuke to clear the mountains out, still trying to decide on the way forward.

The way this trench terminates so abruptly, it's making me wonder how well it would look using either the jazz bridge where Bleeding Gums Murphy plays, or the SF Dam. Have you tried using either of those yet?

The SF Dam suits this area best as I've seen someone else do similar.
