My first design attempt is with this modern looking Hall. The building's property isn't an interesting feature, but its neighborhood IS.
I added it to the zone between my airport and conference center area. I consider this my "world's fair style" area, and placed some retro-space-age buildings here, as if this was once a popular economic-development-zone that fizzled out. The failed museum-turned-prison, Efcot, and unkept Sunsphere all contribute to this nostalgic vibe I'm trying to create here. Like it was supposed to look great from the airport, but eventually upper class people preferred going to Springfield Heights instead. Ned gambled on building his theme park across the river hoping it would be well noticed. I love injecting simulated history into how my SF formed. LOL
Incidentally, this image was assembled in a few minutes using 7 screen shots and the Android app Mapstitcher. It works awesome!

All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!
Added this stage to the Duff Gardens Section of my KL. LOL @ noticing I need to store that Duff canopy as I relocated my beerQuarium for the new stage. But maybe i will redesign and combine the two giant mugs into a more unified placement…hmmmm…

I added Mike’s studio to the scene I have with the Rappin’ Rabbis and their ambulance tour van, kind of a tribute to the Beastie Boys
The 8track shop has been added to my Pride neighborhood.
Another fun event is complete and I’m happy with my new buildings! Thanks EA! please raise the limit with the next event though!
