This Friday? September is not even half way over. Are they just getting it out of they way so they can use October to do a Christmas Theme before it gets to cold?
I don't know about where you're from, but at six flags in new jersey they turn the park into kind of a haunted house. The park is heavily decorated and less well lit than usual and there are lots of ghosts and zombies and such running around. Also, most people are in costume. Seems like it would be cool to see in krustyland. Just a thought.
I think its called "fright fest" and some of the rides go backwards!!!

Fright Fest is amazing. I finally got around to it a few years ago; it happened to be a seriously foggy night and it wasn't very crowded at all, which actually made it kind of scary. There were times when my wife and I would be walking along and realize that we were completely alone.
BUT THEN A GUY IN A SCARY COSTUME WOULD JUMP OUT AT US AND YELL "BLLLLAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!"
