Game consistently crashes when trying to visit a specific friend

Does this friend have heaps of items in their town? Like more than any other friend on your list, above (for example) 3500? It seems that complex town are causing games to crash with this new update because the memory is being overloaded with all the extra animations.

Could be. To be honest, I don't remember how the town looked like yesterday exactly. But it didn't stand out to me in any way.
