Is there a limit to the number of gremlins you can have?

Why? You will probably find that you can only average populating 2-3 gremlins per neighbor. So harboring your gremlins means you build a stockpile that you might never get to use towards the endgame and think of all the GOO that you will have failed to collect.

I don't know, but, i'd imagine, you could have an endless supply. I figured the Gremlin thing out. It's better to plant them in your friends towns, especially when you almost know for a fact, your friends aren't playing the game, such as when they're working, or asleep. Those green guys snatch up goo, and goo is what you want. I lay them down when I have just a few, to maximize my goo count.

P.S.- If someone doesn't have their friends lists full, I will make room for you on my list. Been dumping dead beats to accommodate new players, that play everyday.

My strategy is to give everyone as many as I can. If they don't squish them, great for me. If they do, I'm even happier, because we both benefit. I'm not playing favorites with gremlins like I did with eggs in WD. It's a lot more fun and rewarding that way. More than not, when I drop a handful off in a neighbor's town, they come back and repay the favor. And the best thing is, you know who's leaving them. With the eggs, you could leave 500 of them in a neighbor's town, and unless you did some kind of special design or actually told them, they might not even have known it was you.

My thinking would be that you can place 10 gremlins in friends SF you can have 100 friends so you should at least be able to keep 1000 in your invertory.

I don't see any reason they would put a cap on it to begin with. You're not supposed to keep them, and there's no benefit whatsoever in doing so.

Getting to drop a limited amount of Gremlins compared to unlimited amounts of eggs, allows players to socially drop off eggs in almost every friends town. WD required finding 1-2 trading partners and covering their land and roads with eggs. This Halloween event still requires the taps and effort, but has a casual feel to it.

WD was grueling...though looking back, it was worth it cause the rewards were 100x better than these Halloween ones.

I agree. Whacking Day was far and away the worst event setup, but it did also have the best rewards. I do slightly regret not putting a little more effort into it and getting all of them. But it was spring time when lots of RL stuff is going on outside, and I wasn't willing to dedicate that much time to TSTO.

I play games to take a break from real life, I don't play real life to take a break from games.
