Haven - are you basing your estimates on actual calculations, or just the counter increments? Because the increments do not reflect the actual Community total (for one thing, every time you click the button it boosts it).
I've taken around 100 screenshots of the counter increasing, the original counter to 5,000,000,000 for The First Church of Lard Lad increased at 8192 per second based on the screenshots I took then and I gave an estimate that The First Chruch of Lard Lad would be with us as a Prize on Tuesday, 8th October which it was.
I thought that 8192 was going to be the same for the 10,000,000,000 target but after taking another set of 100 screenshots per second and half a second I found that the total now increases as 9216 which is 1024 on top of 8192. The 8192 is 1024 x 8.
As I said, someone is welcome to correct me, and all dates I've given is pure speculation. I originally calculated based on 8192 that we'd get a prize every Tuesday but with the counter now increasing at 9216 per second it brings it a day forward to Monday 14th October.
But with the 5th and final prize dropping on October 31st I would believe my calculations to be correct, I guess we can only found out.
I've seen some speculation that the Community Goo Tracker may not be real and that it may be programmed. Share you thoughts on the topic, and vote if you think it's REAL or PHONY BOLOGNA.

It's a prop counter, it's purpose is to incite and encourage your participation in STO Mobile. The fact that it takes no time to load it , and that it gets augmented every time it's tapped should be enough evidence of this. IMO.

But those boosts do not stay there. I boosted it up a few million and when I closed out and came back in it reverted to the correct number and not the boosted number.
That's right. I created my own counter and if you refreshed the page the counter would jump that is because the counter is based upon time and each time it was refreshed the time was different so the counter recalculated itself which I believe is the same with the counter in the game when you click the button it boosts because it's calculating the counter from a refresh but if you open the counter as normal it will be counting as normal.
I think its rigged, as it was proven in other, post it shouldn't be constant increase 24/7
There are certain times when people sleep and number per second should drop down, but it doesn't
I agree with outerheaven calculations, I thought before it's EA's master plan where we will be "a little bit" short at the last day so it will make us tap even more...
But his calculations have sense...
+1 for being fake
I've taken around 100 screenshots of the counter increasing, the original counter to 5,000,000,000 for The First Church of Lard Lad increased at 8192 per second based on the screenshots I took then and I gave an estimate that The First Chruch of Lard Lad would be with us as a Prize on Tuesday, 8th October which it was.
I got Tuesday also, but if you want the real increases, you have to re-sync with EA in between screenshots, otherwise what you are documenting is just the increase on your own counter, which has been shown to be more of an approximation of the expected second-to-second increase rather than the actual number.
The rate from getting from zero to 5 billion was definitely not steady; it took 27 hours to get from 4 to 5 where it took 30-something to get from 3 to 4, and it has now taken less than 24 to get from 5 to 6. If that rate keeps up, we'll get the prize more like Sunday.

Finally someone who sees the same thing I am seeing. lol. That is something no one seems to be taking into effect that we are now getting 1 billion within about a 24 hour period. Which would put the 10 billion mark right around Sunday at the latest.

That's what I mean; you can boost the number on *your* screen of the Community Total, but when you re-sync with EA, it will then show you the number from the server [whether that is the accurate Community Total or not depends on whether EA is completely faking us out or just using an increase on the counter to placate people who are panicking]. This is evidence, if not proof, that the incremental uptick is completely made up (or, to put it a nice way, an approximation of what they expect). So any estimates based on that would be presumably flawed.
If I resync with the server, the count would be different because more than a second would have past and it would be refreshing the counter, if the counter is coded how it should it will show the real count when visible.
When re-tapping the community total icon you're getting the counter from the server which would of refreshed and would take more than a second so the difference would be more than 9216 per second.
As I said I created my own counter, which matches EA's and the increments obviously it's off by a few thousand as I don't know when EA's exactly started.
I guess we can all find out when the 2nd Prize drops, if it's Monday, on indeed Sunday. But I'm sticking with my 5th Prize being unlocked on October 31st.

You mean earliest But yes based on the calculations I could do without knowledge of when the actual counter started, the days I've provided would be the latest that we'd receive the prizes so it's possible it could hit Sunday.
But all the calculations I've done are based upon GMT time it may be different in other timezones as I've seen people receive TFCOLL later than others as their counter wasn't at 5,000,000,000 yet.
But still, the counter is based on time and not the amount of goo collected
"When re-tapping the community total icon you're getting the counter from the server which would of refreshed and would take more than a second so the difference would be more than 9216 per second. "
No, you misunderstand. Let me be specific rather than general; in the build-up to getting to 5 billion, that was when people first noticed that boost. Some enterprising tappers decided to tap it a thousand times and inflate the number to 5 billion, to see what would happen. What happened was, they got a message which said something like "The counter is at five billion, the prize will be released soon." But as soon as they logged out and logged back in, the count dropped back below five billion. So in that instance the number was (far) higher than the "actual" total.
On the flip side, if you stay logged in for an hour or more without re-synching and then check the number, and then re-sync, in my experience the number will jump significantly [though I imagine that this would be different depending on the time of day, it was very noticeable to me around 7PM EST, a high-playing time]. So in this case, the number was (far) lower than the "actual" total.
Both of those facts indicate a discrepancy between the actual community total from EA and the incremental increases that you can observe on your screen.

Actually no, I do mean Sunday at the LATEST. I have been watching the ticker since the beginning and I was very accurate on when we would get the first prize. We reached 6 billion 22.5 hours after reaching 5 billion and we reached 5 billion about 24 hours Forgot to write down the exact time) after reaching 4 billion. by my calculation we should have 7 billion some time before midnight CST tonight (probably around 10 pm CST).

I know exactly what you're getting at and I can do the same by refreshing the counter that I created, as the counter is based on time and when you're refreshing you're submitting a new time the sever which it's trying to calculate over and over.
When I loaded my counter in a new browser window, it reset itself to the correct count per second.
It's getting into something that I can't really explain easily as it's based upon a timecode which changes every nanosecond.
Either way though, whatever the counter states it's still only based upon time which is what I'm getting at, and also noting the estimated release date for the prizes.
I don't follow you. Maybe it's me, I'm not saying you're wrong. If the incremental uptick is the same as the uptick on the actual total, then the results that I have observed and described would seem to be impossible.
Wait, are you saying that the number is accurate but only if you actually watch it the whole time?
My two cents phony phony phony! I believe the goo per sec will contuine to increase intill a preset count then start to drop to apear real and create a panic to push us to tap more. With the fifth comunity prize "won" on nov 5 or 6

Yes that's what I'm trying to say, I have created my own counter it's off by about 300,000 though as I don't know the exact time the one EA coded started.
When I've refreshed my counter it's jumped exactly like the EA one including the going over the 'total' however it was back to normal if I stop for about 30 seconds and loading my counter normally.
But if the counter is increasing by 9216 per second now if you watch it and previously it was increasing by 8192. I have a hunch that the counter is set to create it's "count" per second by 1024 each time we're awards a prize and based on the calculations I provided earlier it meant that the 5th item would be awards to us on October, 31st.
If the 2nd Prize arrives Sunday then it would mean my calculations are wrong and would mean the 5th prize will arrive earlier than October 31st, but I'd have thought the final prize would tie in with the day Halloween falls.
But it's randomly increasing that I really have no clue, but I've tried my best to work out how the counter works based on the knowledge I have of Javascript / PHP counters and based on my previous assumption that it increased by 8192 per second to 5 million and now it's 9216 per second until it reaches 10 million does seem that the counter is at least increasing by a multiple of 1024.
If you don't follow, don't worry and I'm not trying to prove I am correct as I said, I could be 100% wrong but I just provided dates based on my calculations and how counters based on time work but it also depends on the time code that the counter is set to calculate from, and that's something I do not know.
Today the count is increasing at a rate of 9278 per second, so with the same mindset, it's increased by 512.
So at the current rate of 9278 per second if it does not change, the 2nd Prize will be available after midnight on Sunday 13th October, going into Monday 14th October.
The time is based on the counter starting at 8AM on October 1st, if the counter was started earlier for example at midnight on October 1st then we'd get the 2nd Prize on Sunday after mid day.
