Sorely needed feature!

One thing I do is travel to Krustyland. I know it doesn't work for all characters, but at least the characters that can go there will appear at the entrance if I haven't given them tasks. It certainly helps because i always seem to miss somebody.

A character list would be helpful though.

Yeah, I do the Krustyland trick too. I actually do those characters first because I'm always in need of tickets more than I need cash. It's usually someone like Ralph Wiggum or the hardly boys (aka Rod & Todd) that I catch wandering the streets with nothing to do. Based on my time lurking these forums I know I'm not alone in wanting some sort of list.

So far the only surefire fix I can come up with is to go into edit mode and turn off all the buildings and deco so any remaining characters stand out from the rest of the town, but that's a pain in the *.

Finding Ralph, Rod, and Todd is SO hard. They are just to tiny in the scheme of the whole town, I am constantly losing them. And I really regret Jub Jub for the same reason lmao, he is like finding a needle in a haystack.

This has been suggested enough times for them to have Quimby talk about it at one point in the game, but apparently that's the limit of their interest. Which is really a shame, because the mechanic clearly exists, since the task book can do it.

Traveling to Krustyland doesn't seem like a great option to me, unless you want to assign tasks in Krustyland, which is not my current priority. What I do is keep my characters on tasks pretty much all the time, and then assign them a new task as soon as I tap their thumbs up. Maybe this will get more difficult as my town gets bigger, but it's worked pretty well so far. And if I do lose track of someone, I tap the move button, hide all the buildings and decorations, zoom out as far as possible, and then look around for characters that are idle.
If I really, really can't find someone, I'll store their associated structure. Unfortunately, this doesn't work for everyone, as not all characters have one, and the Simpson house can of course not be stored.
Something I've seen a few towns do is to only have one street, so characters will all show up there. It seems pretty effective, but I don't really like how it looks to not have streets, even if you replace them with pavement. That's just me, though.

It would be really nice if Ea would finally listen and just have a character button that would open a list.

That's why I have Jub Jub flicking his tongue at all times, since he stays in one place when doing that. He's been spending a lot of time in the SprawlMart parking lot lately...

I'll usually keep my premium characters on their 24 hour missions. With the exeption of Frink , none of them seem to have missions for this update. It would be good if there was a drop down menu where you could scroll through all your characters , see what job they're on and see who's free. Lately , mine have developed an annoying habit of walking between buildings instead of the street.
