Are other people having constant crashes visiting neighbors?

I find the game performance struggles on my iPad while visiting friends' towns, and usually crashes after visiting a dozen or so. Very busy towns are especially bad.

This happens to me usually once per day, and it is usually the same SF ... one that the owner doesn't seem to have visited in a while as every building is haunted and the place is crawling with gremlins.

I guess it just overpowers the connection.

Yeah, I have a few neighbors like that or a few that just have a lot going on in general. I wonder if the problem today was that I was playing so early in the morning and most people hadn't cleared out all the ghosts/hauntings from overnight. Maybe it was just a lot of towns running slow.

Yes, and I lost 240 doughnuts in the process and EA has NOT refunded them as of yet.

I find my game crashes when I visit towns that are saturated with haunted houses. Trying to haunt/tap ghosts seems to be too much for the app and boom! down we go. It sucks because it has cost me donuts from popped ghosts that I wasn't able to collect in time.

House farms are the worst cause of the mass of ghost icons... I have 1 friend who I'm close to deleting because I have to sit and stare at his town for 10 seconds before I tap something or it crashes.

Wait a second and let the town load if you hit a busy town, it does help and its still less time than reloading after a crash.

Yes and no, I have 35 neighbours I visit daily. I crash once during the whole process. The towns that have numerous haunted houses and clearly haven't been checked in a while are the worst. I also find towns that are loaded with gremlins lag brutally because they move so fast.

Mine crashes when I go to KL. I reload the game and try again and then it usually works.

YES.... My game crashes/freezes and lags like crazy when trying to visit neighbors. It's almost to the point of unplayable.
I think if I can stay in long enough, I'm going to start weeding out neighbors who house farm, aren't really active and I've never seen them visit my town.

My game crashes before I can enter my lvl 30/35 towns. But it works with my anonymous town lvl5.

It's a memory problem!

ever since halloween my game crashed everytime I entered krustyland but I log back in and I could go to krustyland. Now I can't log into my game at all cause it crashes on the load screen. If I log out and log in my other towns they load with no crash so until it's fixed I quit all 3 towns. I HATE EA

I haven't had any crashing problems visiting neighbors on iPad4 or iPhone5s. But every single time I try to go to KL after taking care of other stuff in SF or visiting neighbors, I crash. The only way I can get into KL is if I go there immediately after loading.

Mine crashes all the time- period. Just about every time I log on it will go to my town and then crash. Then it will randomly crash at other times. It just started for me today.

Been pretty crashy today, fairly random.

Getting miffed that the KL crash hasn't been sorted yet

I had a lot more crashes than usual today, too. No one has pointed out yet that it's technically a holiday in the U.S. and many people are off work, spending the whole day tapping! Maybe that's the explanation?

Same here, mainly from people not clearing their town out of all gremlins/ghosts etc and people who house farm like crazy......

Also as of the last few days when going through my friends towns the loading screen seems to sometimes have a seizure and goes all random colours and blocky like it was crashing (not just randomly closing). I have to exit the game and close it properly for it to fix.

Any one else with that issue?
