Krusty land bug?

I bought the rusty land shuttle about 3 weeks ago but have never been able to do anything in KL it just shows dialogue between krusty and homer and then closes down, I have uninstalled and re-installed but still I am getting the same, I didn't want to do anything on krusty land but I just got the tilt a whirl and thought I would place it but I can't.
Is there a fix?
