I think the phrase you were looking for is "confirmation button" 
Oh but I completely agree. Every freemium game I've played has confirmation buttons for spending the premium currency. Definitely need one for speed up button, but also REALLY need one in the build menu. I will never get over the fact that I accidentally bought Bart Raven... I hate him so * much...
