Jimbo for 120 donuts too much???

You should have the option "maybe" in your poll. Atleast, that's what I am voting.

I think it's priced too high, so I'm surely not buying it now. But perhaps later. Therefore, maybe.

I bought donuts yesterday and i bought Jimbo with some of those donuts. I agree he is overpriced for 120 donuts for a couple of reasons. First of all he has no voice, and i think he only has two or three outside tasks. The only reason i bought him is because he is my most favorite bully in the show and i really wanted him to be apart of my town. Jimbo is not a horrible character but not that good of a character. I guess he is an okay premium character to purchase in the game.

Kearney is my favorite bully because he looks best. Ironically, the writers of Simpsons intend him to be the ugliest of the bullies.

    Bring us Kearney Jr!

I want Jimbo, but that is a ridicules price without a building. Even I have to say.

But this time, no one is mistaking Jimbo for being two separate characters... Overpriced for sure. As was Sherri and Terri. They were actually even worse. No voice, and if two-in-one, they should pay double of normal premiums. They are two characters after all? Something should defend their pricetag.

    Nothing defends Jimbos pricetag...

Dolph has a great look-at-me-I've-finished-my-task animation. Does anyone know what the overpriced, silent, homeless Jimbo's completion animation looks like? I'm still pissed about Sherri and Terri; for 150 donuts I assumed their tasks would pay double, which they don't.

I agree with everyone on here. I got Jimbo because he is indeed the leader of the bullies and you can't have all these Indians without a chief. Plus I have to have every character

But the pricing is getting bad. If Jimbo came with a building or some kind of decent decoration, then the 120 price tag would at least be worth it. But as a solo character with nothing added, it's insane.

I know the devs look at the boards from time to time, so hopefully they can see all these negative topics about Jimbo's price and decide in the future not to charge so much for premium solo characters that are voiceless

Can't complain about a price then go and purchase him. If people are buying prices stay the same. and prices won't change until stop buying.

Voted "maybe", but if I do, it's not gonna be for a while - there are lots of other premium characters I don't have yet.

I have $125 in iTunes credit I'm saving until either a Gil sale or I get desperate. "Getting desperate" means limited time characters I MUST have. I've been stingy so far - hoping that my current 293 donuts will hold me through Christmas (or until a Gil sale)...

I can complain all I want. The only ways things change is either by...

    1. Decline in sales. People getting together and not buying high priced characters. This has to be a united thing. A few people on a message board ain't gonna do squat.

    2. EA reading these boards and seeing our complaints and constructive criticism and re-evaluate their pricing

I buy most characters on here my last was the **** chick. I hated shelling out 90 for her crappy task. I wont get burned again. I will not buy any mor charaters until they make them more reasonable. I do like building character combos. I still have not bought the twins yet either. 300 donuts is 20 bucks so that makes him what 8 bucks for what i have read 3 missions. What happened to the 60 donut characters?

Also i just cleared out a lot of dead beat friends. So send me a invite.

I would pay 85-90. That should be the ceiling for a premium character with no building

Sure you have the right tocomplain but...

    1. I don't believe it has to be a group effort. Each individual that decides for themselves that they aren't willing to pay the asking price is one lost sale. Each person that buys it but opposes the price is just another sale for EA, they've got your money, they no longer care if you think its worth it. According to the poll, over 60% on the forums don't think he's worth it and aren't buying him. Thats a pretty big group of individuals that decided on their own that he's not worth their money. Its a little hyprocrital to say that the only way things will change is if there is a decline in sales yet you're still buying.

    2. Once you say "I bought him but..." EA is only hearing the sound of the cash register.

You're forgetting that we're only a small group here & not everyone who posts here has voted, not to mention the millions of people that play the game & don't visit the board. So if 100 of us didn't buy Jimbo, that isn't sending a message to EA. Because in all honesty, lord knows how many people outside our little forum purchased him. Our little community won't make a dent.

The way we do make dents is by expressing ourselves here. It's been proven that they do read what we say & I'm sure they take that into account. So if they see how much people are disappointed in Jimbo's pricing, then perhaps they will take that into account and won't charge so much next time.

And only 74 people voted that they wouldn't buy Jimbo. Let's see if those people stick to their guns or crack. Remember, people change their minds all the time. One can say "This is outrageous, I will never buy him at that price" a week later, Jimbo is walking around their town.
