Solid rocket booster ride!

At about a minute and 12 seconds when you see the speedometer in the top of the screen reach 700 mph and it breaks the speed of sound is amazing. I've never seen any video like this. To ride a rocket to the edge of the atmosphere and then fall back to Earth. The sounds are incredible. And when the SRB comes crashing back into earths atmosphere is crazy.

Beleive it or not, but watching f1 and following it as obsessively as I do, it has allowed me to appreciate anything mechanical like that man makes. Love motogp, fighter jets, space shuttles, anything that's amazing like that.
That's exactly what I thought.
I remember I would see the Space shuttle launches on TV but you don't really get the full gist of it.
This is pretty much like being on the rocket without the excruciating death part..
That was awesome! I need to get one of those!! Right at 35 seconds the lead driver seems to go through some type of obstacle,? I can't quite make out what it is. I thought it was 2 piles of snow at first! How are they allowed to race around residential streets like that! Or at least they look like residential streets.
Isle of Man hosts a famous motorcycle race there every year. It's crazy, so many have been killed there, but it's ultimate test against man and machine. One lap is a lap around the entire island, it's like 67km for one lap, it's amazing. Those "obstacles" are chicanes, there meant to slow the driver down. As you could see, they don't really fase the drivers much. Big balls for this stuff, one mistake=death.
When I was 11 years old we used to live near a go kart track and during the day The owners of the track would let my brother and I test out the go carts that they had fixed during the Day when they were closed. If they were malfunctioning or whatever. When the mechanics fixed them they would let my brother and I take them out for A few laps to test them out. I always took the blue sparkly helmet with the American flag sticker on the back. That is a special memory I have from childhood.
But man those Karts in that video Are something else!
