Can we please buy items for our friends for Christmas....

No, that's not something they did. The most gift giving is like dropping gremlins in ur friends sf.
I like the idea though
:D

this will be my first tapped out Christmas....

can we go to our friends and buy them things for Christmas?

I would love to see a christmas tree were friends can buy somthing and.place it under the tree...
(of course I am meaning in this game)

so when the time comes to open your gifts you get a house from me for christmas :-) or some flowers... it is the thought that counts right?

not sure what happened last year on here for Christmas, but I really like the idea of giving gifts to my 'friends' on here

Perfect way to say thank you after this Halloween event

    wishing everyone a great week

    Great idea!!!

That sounds like a create idea. And maybe they could add a few premium items that cost...duno 10-20 donuts. Just so you can gift you fav neighbour and they would think "wow they spent a little on me". I'm not talking about giving them prems we have just silly things like a nutcracker that walks around your town

That sounds like a fantastic idea. I am completely on board with this idea. Even if it is a secret Santa.

You know people would gift a brown house and abuse what they receive. So they might have to have a value range where object x has to be between 0-200 cash and like 1000-5000, etc. Same thing with donut items, since someone might put in a white picket fence, and get like an Orange Tree.

i think they should give us a small selections of premium (christmas themed ) items and a few free ones you can give to every body,

That would work, as long as rare or 1-time items cannot be exchanged. I also think it would still have to remain as decorations, and ones used with the currency and/or in game cash. Since even a 1 donut item would have to have a % bonus, and then people will create towns to abuse it as well. So there might have to be a level cap to get around it.

I also think they would need to show you the neighbor that gave it to you. Since I'd love to give back what I receive.

Yes def they shud show who sent the gift. The items don't need bonuses or anything like that or any way to have an advantage of sumone that dosnt have one. Just the fact that sumone has spent donuts to gift you something. Thought it would be a nice Idea. They don't even need to be that expsensive just enough so it has a value that sumone had to spend somthing to gift sumone. And the free items to thank all other neighbours for being neighbours.

    +1

Why not allow items in the inventory box to be dropped off? You buy it, place it in your inventory, then drop it off into someone else's inventory.

We could place gift boxes, unknown items supplied by the game itself. Than Christmas Eve we can open gifts that were placed under our tree. Nothing special maybe, trees, flowers or some special items???

It's a swell idea, but I doubt it will happen this year. I'm sure the developers have had their specs for a while and they've been coding away for quite some time.

Plus they may still be busy with Obama Care. Considering the testing done on Obama Care and the testing done here, it may well be the same programmers. :)

    LOL!
    You are bad. :)

EA programmers are much more competent than Obamacare programmers.
