The few names I use were also taken, so I spelled one of them backwards. I recently tried to change the name of one of my other accounts and then got the dreaded "this device has a level 1 Springfield already on it" message. Now I'm afraid to switch my current account the the name I originally used, but had to abandon because I made some mistakes on my first attempt.

I was lucky so far and never had crashing issues (touch wood), except when visiting huge Springfields.

But I was wondering if there's way to cancel invitations you made which have never been accepted. I invited some people who don't play anymore since months. Did you see this option in the software, or is there a way to do it in the game which I didn't find?

Oh my, still no crashes! This is like heaven after becoming accustomed to the glitchy performance I had previously, not knowing whether I'd crash just as I completed a task or collected some tax or visiting friends. Such a difference. I am one happy tapper!

Luckily had a pretty stable situation.

But I too have had issues with friends towns crashing the game and needing a double attempt to get back in to the game.

It was caused by players who hadn't logged in since pre lvl 23/thanksgiving update so they unfortunately had to be de-friended but it seemed to be a random problem as some other friends in the same situation were not causing me any problems at all, bit weird but what can you do!

So if you need to re-friend anyone, I'd start with those that perhaps haven't logged since pre update and see how that goes.

Thanks for the great information Sonny. Next time I fire up the PC will give it a go and hope it will help my game as well.

Please let me know if you crash when visiting my town. I am still experiencing this problem when I tap characters sometimes.
