I don't have a skin for the muntz house. I wonder why... If it was a premium thing that you needed donuts to buy maybe that's why. I never use my donuts.

I would love the Ultrahouse to have a Christmas skin! That would be cool!

I have the muntz house christmas skin and it wasn't premium. Also, i think chritmas skins for woflcastle's fat tony's and burns' mansions would be pretty cool, as well as the spinster city apartment

I wonder if Christmas skins for the houses would be free or not. As that is not something I believe I'd like to spend donuts on. If the Christmas skins cost donuts, there's a real possibility my town won't "celebrate" Christmas!

Christmas skins were unlocked with the seasonal currency. I can't see that changing as Halloween 2013 used seasonal currency, as did Halloween 2012.

Yes, but since most of the skins were from last year, EA might actually charge donuts for them. If so, I think I for one, will pass on those skins. I'd rather spend donuts on characters first, then skins/buildings I like. After that it's decorations, and seasonal skins would be pretty low when I consider those. Therefore, if EA want all towns to have a Christmas-feel to them, those houseskins should be free this year too (and every year thereafter, so long as this game continues on).

But I think I might have misunderstood you a little. You mean to say that the way to get the seasonal currency was through those skins? If so, I guess it's a fair chance they actually are free.

this halloween update for 2013 did not have currency it had a counter

currency means you can buy what you want not just get it when you reach a certain amount

halloween 2012 did have currency as you could buy what you want in the order you wanted

Hopefully it s not lazy like the Halloween update where by only the kids who were in the game last year could trick or treat ........... So hopefully not only the houses who had lights last year have lights this year. That would be really lazy.....

All of the skins were 50 coins each. I know, I barely got the Volcano Lair's in time. I also passed on a second Funzo for the donut stockings.

It'll be really hard to integrate the skins because previous players would have a starting advantage (more so than the cemeteries), and thus will complain it's a lot easier. Each skin generated 5 coins every 24 hours, and only 1 colored house generated the coin.

I also passed the second Funzo and went right to Santa`s Little Helper and even after that i could have got the second Funzo but decided on stockings as well.
I like the currency model better than the counter/Prize model we have had For this Halloween event and for whacking day. It is better because people can get what they want in the order they want.

I can see it going both ways. Though I don't know what we can "kill" for Christmas. Unless it's like angry Elves or something bizarre. The currency model is easily done either repeating the currency or something new.

I also like the currency model, especially for Christmas.

I wonder if Rod & Todd will get to go snowmobiling this year?

I can't wait to have Homer and Lisa pretending to Ski, that was another epic task! They do get some good event tasks.

I didn't get much Christmas currency last year, so that must be why I am missing the skin on the Muntz house. Thank you all for the help, it was driving me crazy why I was missing it.

I hope they offer it again this year for cash and not donuts. :)
