The best fort sensible I've seen is one that turned it into a full on military training base complete with soldier training zones surrounding it. If I remember who did that design I'll post up a link.

I just consider it apart where the town has grown around it; sort of like the Alamo. Anyone ever fins the basement in the Alamo?

Most forts I've seen (including mine) are usually part of big * forests with a lot of stuff around. Refreshing to see it solo! I think Maegnificent's Fort is quite epic
