DIY Abreviation is being used in a generalised way on the message boards, such as DIY iTunes card, do it yourself iTunes card to get them cheaper, rather than purchase one through the normal channels.
The problem with this, is that most people use the term DIY to mean 'Do it yourself' instead of getting a professional or expert to do the work for you.
So the term DIY on these boards can be a little ambiguous and confuse some.
How can you have gone through life without knowifng what DIY means
Hey, I was always the last kid on the block to find out what the latest slang word meant. It's no biggie.
Yeah but DIY was first used around 20-30 years ago, in the name of shops not like it's new or anything
I didn't mean to imply it was a newly coined term. I was trying to subtly suggest that you're acting just a wee bit like Nelson saying "ha-ha" when you deride someone for not knowing it what it means. We all have those kinds of small gaps in our knowledge. It's not a big deal.

Everyone's grandpa is in a quest loop. Don't worry about it, it doesn't affect the game whether you decide to do them or not.
I also am flummoxed by thread titles with DIY in though.
