I also have the same problem with the golden scratch r. I sent apple billing a email to remove it. Everyone should contact apple support to remove it if you have a apple device. Android user should also contact google support also to remove the golden scratch r from your purchase screen. Let apple or google know about this error.
Same problem for 2 days. Uninstalled and rebooted multiple times with no luck. And I've been billed for this Golden Scratch ticket and haven't even had the opportunity to scratch it
This is really unacceptable. I have had the same issue and it's been 5 days now. I have been monitoring the forums and reached out to EA and still no reply. There is no customer support whatsoever. eA really needs to address these issues.
I posted earlier but here's an update - I can log on to game on other devices yet the golden scratch card has never appeared. I can't get on the game on my iPad - have uninstall and reinstalled it a few times and nothing. What is ea doing about it,,,
I sent EA an email and they replied back with a standard letter to try uninstalling, reinstalling, try to download a different app
None of it worked, they also said if the problem persists to provide more info
Same issue for a week. Have deleted the app and downloaded twice and tried powering down ipad and nothing. Can not get past Gracie Films screen. Do get iTunes log in sometimes but putting in password or cancelling it does nothing.
It's been one week since this problem has occurred to me. As of 11-14-13, there is still no progress in making the game work. I emailed EA on 11/12, they told me to email them back info, I did, and then I got another email on 11/13 saying that they are taking the issue to a "higher level", and they'll contact me back soon. Have not heard from them since. All I want is this game to work. I want the problem to be fixed. If this isn't fixed within the next 2 weeks, I will probably lose interest by then and stop trying. We'll see.
Well it's been 8 days of being unable to play. Still happening today. Never got a reply from EA email from 3 days ago. I'm starting to think EA isn't even trying to solve the problem. As of right now I'm missing the Thanksgiving event, and who knows, if ever, will this issue be fixed. Sorry to everyone (me as well) having this very aggravating problem.
Same problem here. Tried to buy my occasional golden ticket, and during the verification process, the game quit and I can't get back in on the device (iPad mini, iOS 7.0.4) that I was using. I can use all of the other apps on the iPad, and can access my TSTO town on my iPhone. Have tried to delete / re-install the App on the iPad. As well as power all the way down. No soap. Can't get past the Gracie screen. Will play for a while on the phone, but it's not a substitute for playing on the iPad. Obviously some kind of a bug, as it appears to be affecting a number of us. Hope EA gets it fixed some time soon.

From the App Store, then opened it from App Store, not desk top,
Then it asked for my itunes password, after entering it,
it uninstalled itself then reinstalled itself.
After that it started working again.
