Though many can manage their land successfully and even if they have all the premium items filling up the land, more land to purchase is always welcomed. The Christmas event next month might be a big update and some who have big towns will increasingly require that little extra peice of land to purchase.

I can't imagine needing more land either. I do agree that creativity is important...however, if creativity is limited to those times when one has unlimited resources, then said creativity is really just extravagant rambling. Being creative inside of restrictive parameters is truly the test of ones abilities.
They'll have to release more land eventually. Every time they release new buildings, we need more land than we needed before (however much that is, I'm not going to debate).
Personally I wish I had more land... but then I have land still left to buy, so I can sort that out. A few areas in my town look cramped to me, and my mansions aren't exactly set in vast grounds, but until I "catch up" to everything that's been released before the next update is due, I'm trying to maximise buildings and characters in order to generate more cash with which to buy the land... so... yeah.
I'm only just buying up my last few squares of land but will need more as they update and bring out more buildings. I think it's a fair enough shout for more land. Iv seen some amazing designs that have taken up loads of land and some that are only small. Each to their own!!
I give you guys a lot of * for whining about more land, but today I realized I would like more, too. I have space, but sometimes not in the right place. I bet we get more with Xmas.

I have playing for one year now and don't house farm. I have bought all the land and have two little plots left. Hopefully we get more land or else I won't be able to continuing playing and adding more building / premium buildings.
I will confess to having bought every premium item. I do not farm. My conformity rating is 4.5 and I suspect that's because I don't quite have enough repeat stores/restaurants. Having said that I have a large forest area and gardens for all my houses and car parks for many stores etc. Every so often I have to do a minor redesign, but I have enough land. I even think the last extra strip has proved useful, it has enabled me to put the motel and diner on the road coming into town. Let's moan less and enjoy what we've got.

Why does it matter to you if people want more land? Play the game your way and do what you want with your city. I'll do the same. I love the post from the person who started at Whacking Day this year and has few premiums. I agree that most likely, you don't need more land. You have no neighbors with well designed towns or that look as good as yours, sdv325? Add me. I'd love to see yours. Other than my pretentious landing zone, you will see mine flows quite nicely.
If ea releases about 1-2 buildings (one regular and one premium per update) that's about 3-4 buildings a month x 12 months for a total of about 36-48 buildings a year. (Unless you're the poster who buys few premiums then it's 2 x12 for a total of 12-24.) Sooner or later, with no new land, you will find yourself needing more. Unless you're a collector and just drop buildings wherever with no decoration effort put into it, that is.
I think we will continue to get small strips of land as the year progresses. That is, if the Halloween update is any indication.
Indy I tnink you town looks nice. Do you need more land. I at level 37 barely have land but I buy buildings as they come up. Why? They generate cash and/or a character with cash.
Some of my town looks nice, and decorative and the other looks crammed and ugly.
Its just that only ppl that decorates like crazy need it. Normal people (most) will never need them. I have all buildings free and donuts since august and have so much space all the land contains dumps that i dont have he patience to remove due to them being so spread apart i would need to have hours to do it with homer and lisa since ea is so stupid u need to do one at a time And cant store it to make one area with it to clean it up really easy

I decorate every building with parking spaces, flowers, trees, etc. As I obtain land I will still do the same but if I run out of room I will reconfigure. I don't buy every premium, so maybe that helps.
