We need the game to run smoothly and not freeze or boot people out.

EA, please keep the land the way it is and not add any more.

Bump, give the people what they want!!!! Don't see why they add so many buildings and decorations. When there is hardly any room for it, unless u want ur town packed without a town park or non-premium houses in ur town.

Your town is full without a park or any non-premium houses!?! Wow! How do you complete tasks and quests with only premium houses. I assume you still at least have room for the Simpsons house you cannot store it.

Lol my bad, meaning I'm going to have to take down my park and meant non-character houses.

It may not be so simple to just add more land. Based on how the game behaved when it was all framy and hardly playable, I think that they were trying some sort of memory management to allow more land. Something that will let the game take up less RAM so they are able to expand. I'm hoping that when they fixed the lag that they didn't revert back to the old method they were using, but instead got their new method working. That way there will be more land and people will stop complaining about it all the time. :)

Full disclosure is that I've finally found the boundaries of my available land, and it shouldn't take too long until I need to use it. I could take my blue and purple house communities and make house farms, but I'm not truly liking that idea.

Gonna bump this because there should be an update taking away the Stonecutters Event soon. Hoping that they give us more land for the 4th of July. I was thinking the 4th of July would be an excellent time for more land because it is when the USA got independence from the Brits, therefore acquiring more land. It's kind of a stretch but you never know.

Totally with you guys! It really **** me off to destroy my whole forest and other creative land sections because I am out of space for new buildings

So you guys should take this badge too for showing everyone how you feel!

Think of the poors who are still trying to play on flip phones, those are your core customers

Yeh EA keep it the way it is!!

Don't release more land so you can make more premium items and make more money.

    A repeat post. My apology:

There are Many topics I do not comment upon. Not that they are not important, or at times interesting, but they do not concern me, and I am aware enough to move on.

That said, it confounds me that people want to weigh in on certain subjects.

    Land, for instance.

I don't understand the objections some have to more land. What skin is it off your nose if someone else wants more? Your prices aren't going up. Your game isn't lessened. Why are you offended?

Even more amazing to me are people who chime in when they still have land to buy. If that's the case, this is being debated at a cloud above you. You do not have a dog in the fight.

You want to argue Washington vs Lincoln? Fine. Lovejoy vs Father Sean? Have at it. Cletus vs. Herman? Who cares? But for goodness sakes, why should you care about land unless it affects you?

Yes we need more land. I store my off season items and still need more room.

Some of us consider the idea of inventing our own town to be a big part of the game. That said, obviously we take time and trouble to lay out the buildings with roads, yard space, etc. to make it a town you would want to live in. This takes space!

I live in Portland Oregon. We have a limited amount of horizontal space to build on becuase we have chosen to keep our "big city" small. I love that but at the same time !!!This Is A Game!!!. I have to deal with this problem in real life but not in my fantasy land.

    I'll just tell you.
Two strips are available in the files.
They can't be unlocked at this moment though but they're there.
    Just be patient ;)

That's encouraging! I don't need more land right yet, but I feel bad for the folks who had to destroy some wonderful SF designs to accommodate all the new stuff. Let's hope it comes soon, like with a Halloween Update. I think that would be a great time to release it. :)

I would love more land, MORE LAND PLEASE! However is two strips going to be enough? I have a large forest area and Springfield park making a few areas cramped, I have refused to redesign these. I know as soon as that extra land is relaxed and my town breathes out it will be filled up quickly.

I want 4 strips of new land or nothing.

I'm joking. Just one more bloody square will do!

I actually just recently nuked my SF for the first time ever since I began playing and I couldnt be happier! Now, I find that I can fit just about every building and decoration ( less the skating rink and christmas town and Haunted House). Makes it more challenging but fun and more imaginative that way. There needs to be more land, but nuking was the way to solve that problem for now....

These threads are getting just as annoying as Josh's complaining threads.

Plus there was a thread just like this not 2 days ago....

As the saying goes, "The squeaky wheel get the grease." There are a lot of people, me included, who want/need land and the more "chatter" on the forum about getting land, the better chances there are we get land.

Id really love to see some of these towns where people constantly complain about more land. Chances are they are just horribly designed and hugely mismanaged.

From all the people that have been in my friends list, very few compare to mine in terms for design and creativity. Granted i have only a couple premium buildings and stated months late because Android didn't get it but I have nearly 3 full rows of of land empty. And i have been generous with the typical area's

    Bigger isn't always better.

I have been playing since early 2012 and have spent a fortune on premium buildings and characters. My town is well organised and looks great. I dont have house farms, I dont think they are necessary after level 40 anyway. More land allows people to get creative with their buildings which is a big reason why I have continued to play daily for so long. Im very proud of my springfield and I delete friends who are not dedicated tappers like myself. Feel free to add me and take a look. I totally agree that more land is needed especially if EA wants to keep the big spenders playing

Without more land I am sure that premium players will find it harder and harder to fit new premium content into their games and will therefore stop buying donuts. Lower donut purchases will result in less revenue for the game and will cause the game to have less money spent on development and cause an end to TSTO. Please EA release more land for the premium players who have been loyal to this game since the start.

I agree we need more land.
However, I know from my community work for another gaming company that land is the biggest thing to add to a game like this.
They wanted to add more land for a long time, but do it in a way so that people on older devices would still be able to play the game. Eventually the new land was added, but since then numerous updates have introduced loads of new buildings etc, and now more room is desperately needed. I'm afraid it may mean that soon you will need at least ios7 to play.
