I bought my final strip of land but put a few barricades around it so I won't use it. I still have plenty of land in town (available blocks) to use for future buildings. I still don't understand why everyone needs more land. Realize there is a limit and plan accordingly.

Have you been playing since the beginning and have all the premium and limited time items?
and you MUST have 5 stars and MUST have everything out on display. it does not matter at all that some of these items are completely asinine to have in a "real town".
Since last Christmas. I have almost everything except for the collider and Swankyfish. My town has the Halloween items from last year when they came around again. There may be something else I'm missing but I can't remember it offhand.

4.5 stars, actually. I'm not building more burger joints or convenience stores to satisfy half of a star. I even have the Freak Show on display which IMHO has to be the most useless building in SF.
I don't get why it's such a big deal for some people that others want or need more land. I know that, at this point, many of my buildings have some mediocre designs just because I need to squeeze them in some areas. I like to be creative with everything. And I don't buy the creativity in confined spaces is more impressive theory. EA needs to make the proper amount of space available for the amount of content they put out there. I hope they do soon.

It goes on your squid port but the only reason it's on mine is because I have a lot of room

I tried it there. Just didn't seem to fit there so I stuck mine up near the prison. Oddly, it fits in a strange way.

It's not really such a big deal that people want more land. I suppose what makes my skin itch is the incessant whining by players who "need more land" because they like to be creative. I like truffle oil on my potatoes when I have steak for dinner and I prefer my asparagus to be exactly the width of a No.2 pencil. I eat a decent meal without those things.

Well, I don't think most people are whining necessarily. I find the game enjoyable either way, but it would be more enjoyable if I could design my town with less restrictions. Just like you enjoy your asparagus and potatoes. It's good either way, but could be better.
I'm not whining but I need more land. I've been playing since the beginning and have all premium buildings with hardly any room left for anything else. As ea adds content they need to add more land to accommodate said content. Especially since the buildings, for the most part, seem to be getting larger. (Casino, unemployment, fst...). If people don't need the land they don't have to buy it but when a person can't decorate or arrange their town as they choose simply because there's not enough space ea needs to do something. I mean isn't the whole point to build and decorate your Springfield as you see fit? And what happens when people don't have space for the very pricey premium building you know are going to be released for Christmas. Come on EA:

Anyways, EA how about some more land
No one commented on my sweet haiku about needing more land. I still need more land by the way
great job on your haiku! I was going to make a haiku in response, but the syllable count isn't high enough for me to say what NEEDS to be said.
I need more land for my wasteland area with nothing in it!
:-)

I want land for Christmas!
