Crop Withered

If it isn't tapped for 24 hours it will wither, just have to wait for another tap to revive it. I only leave 1 handshake on the crop, because if you leave 2 or three, all are wiped out if the crop withers.

All crops wither, it depends on their time. The perfection one withers in like 10 seconds, but Moonshine is a few days. Corn is 7 days. It's just the way it goes.

Just be glad it wasn't corn that this happened to. The glitch itself seems to be a little glitchy. Mine just aren't registering at times, and it doesn't seem to matter if I'm in the game or not.

I know when my corn is ready I might pm a few neighbors ahead of time to tap it that day, but I'm collecting it and not letting it sit, just for this reason.

Assuming you get 2 payouts it wouldn't matter if it was withered. I haven't done the farm glitch (corn is still 60 some days away), but don't you get a "collection" amount if you tap the handshake - meaning if it was corn, you'd get 45k multiple times? So as long as you cleared 2 handshakes, you'd already be well into the positives, so if the initial withers, you still got 45k a few times.

Hey Indy! I had my moonshine up for a few days, collected quite a few handshakes, and then it wilted. I was concerned, but i just let it sit, then it was revived by a neighbor and I started collecting handshakes again. I have never had the patience to grow corn, but I assume it would be similar..

Well, my corn hasn't withered but I tap it daily with my newly made (for this purpose) feeder accounts. The payout is rather nice, I've pretty much bought everything I wanted to, plus a few extras.

And thanks to some fabulous neighbours I get a few taps daily - just remember to login to your Springfield otherwise people won't be able to tap it!.. you don't have to collect it, just log in regularly for the chance of more handshakes!
