I now of no way to know when someone has quoted you. I don't believe any one expects you to reply to a quoted message.

Most quotes are to reply to a specific post; in case there are intervening ones

Other use quotes to show someone else has their options

Other just like to quote quotes to see if they can get their entry to cover one or more pages

(never paying that proofreader again)

Not that I'm aware of. But it'd be a nice feature; a lot of the time you post in reply to a functionality question and you don't need to see the same response posted 10 more times, but if someone responds to say thanks, it's nice to acknowledge it.

Theres meant to be an email notification but mine never works, or noone quotes me lol

It would be nice if they added that to this forum. I'm on another one where you have that option. That way you can easily see who replied to you or answered a question you asked. Maybe we need a "what I'd like to see added to the forum thread." Otherwise you're just digging through threads.

There's quite a few functions I'd like to see added. This forum runs on the same mechanics as all the other EA games forums, though, so we probably won't see any upgrades until they all do, unfortunately :roll:

I get emails when someone posts in a thread I have posted in. It does not matter if they quoted me or not.
