Well, yours is obviously the HD, then. Mine is not. It has no external volume buttons. It has no native screenshot ability. The only way to take screenshots is to download computer software that is by all accounts not very user-friendly, plug the kindle in, and hope it works. Or do what I do and take semi-crappy photos with a separate camera.
