Did you remind EA that we had an anniversary? Something tells me EA is the type that needs to be reminded of birthdays and anniversaries multiple times in multiple ways. Really if you didn't mark it on the calendar, leave a sticky note on the coffee maker, make it an event on FaceBook and program it as a reminder in EA's phone; then, you can't blame them for forgetting.
Are you also upset about not getting a thankyou card from Midway for playing Pac-Man? Or Nintendo not sending you a dozen roses for playing Mario Bros?
You're buying a video game, for cripes sake. Quit feeling so entitled...
Should masochists be rewarded for being masochists? We practically enslave ourselves to the mind numbing tap-tap-tap and get filthy rolling around in the crashes, glitches, bugs, etc. Reward us for being pigs! Of course not! We need more content so we can have more taps. The true reward would be stability.
Wait a minute, am I to understand that no one in this thread got their free four dozen donuts at their one year mark? You guys must have pissed EA off.
for such an "occasion oriented" game, one significant event came and went unsung and uncelebrated this fall - many players' one year anniversary playing tapped out.
Mine came and went without EA taking the time to say, "Thanks for spending your real money to buy our fake money so that we could have real money for salaries that bought real anniversary presents for our real loved ones." There was no, "Thanks for playing and helping make this game all it has become."
I'm feeling very unromanced and wondering if i'm alone? Anyone else have any thoughts what would be a great and appropriate thanks for playing for a year? One free premium item? Donuts? Let the unsung anniversary thoughts begin...
Hmm, not sure if you are serious or not but if you are wow lol, what you expect, gift through the mail! Comon get real, it's a games company, they don't care who plays and who spends.
I got a monkey in a swing bucket eating a lollipop plus a subscription to The Jelly of the Month Club...
And you got nothing?
Also, I think a lot of you literal thinking people didn't get the OP's sarcasm...
DUDE! You got the monkey, I wanted the monkey! I told them they could keep the bucket swing, but they gave me the run around and gave me donuts instead.
Oh well,it's easier to clean up after donuts than it is to clean up after a lollipop eating monkey.

Your whining gave me an idea. More a cool scenario.
Wouldn't it be cool if hypothetically you had friends for one year. On their birthday you could send them 1 real dollar. With 100 friends you could buy a boatload.
I understand you get friends at different times, but in my head its all happening the same day.

Something from ea to show you have been with them for a year or more? Yeah, not going to happen.
