Just want to make sure....

That is correct.

Luann is the only way to unlock the Fleet-a-Pita. And it's the first time something like this happens.

I've been traveling and not playing as much and I'm wondering about the fleet-a-pita truck. Searched the forums and it seems like you can't unlock it without buying Luann. Is that correct? If so, is that the first time an item was listed as a quest unlockable that required a premium purchase first?
yes u need luann to unlock it. I think its the first. Tough the golden cat thing was also premium and listed as quest but one was free

Jep, you have to buy Luan in order to get them and jep, it is the first non-premium item to be unlocked by purchasing a premium item.

Well that's annoying! I'm not particularly interested in Luann or the cracker factory but I was looking forward to fleet-a-pita...not gonna spend 150 donuts for that, though.

If it makes you feel any better, I find the whole Fleet-a-Pita thing a rip-off. A one-time activity, with everyone piling on the same one bus, at least in my town. I'm not sure why I had the other four buses at all. Unless I did something wrong ... I really thought it would be an ongoing task, but that was it. Plus, the awesome crowd-pouring-out-of-the-bus moment was completely obscured by all the money and XP, unless you watched from another town. (totalTapper made an awesome gif of that moment, someplace here on the forum.)

Since then, the five buses just sit there taking up space, with no payout. I think you can HAVE a Fleet-a-Pita bus in Krustyland, but can't MOVE them there. Actually, I stuck one in storage just out of spite. I have the other four lined up next to the KrustyLand shuttle, which is --of course -- ironic, since they can't go there.

    Major bummer.

Buying another four was part of the quest line. And yes, they are an eye-sore and take up room. Best to sell or store them.

You can always hide them between other decorations. I put mine outside of the power plant and right next to the Springfield Mall.

All of those are always one time. Just like the 1 time going to Stu's Disco, or working at the Cracker Factory or whatever.

I'm surprised Luann, Agnes or Edna didn't get a task to meet for investorettes or anything like that. They could have had a task at the van.

FYI, the van quest worked like the 4th of July Kwik-E-Mart task. Apparently it has to track the first one added, so they all went to the first built Fleet-A-Pita. So the other 4 just become eye sores.

What is this Springfield Mall you speak of? I'm assuming it's a mall you created yourself with the buildings we currently have available..

No, just wishful thinking. There's been a lot of speculation that we're getting the mall with this update(makes sense, since every christmas episode involves a trip to the mall) so I put a bunch of decorations around a block of land that I secured for it.

And long may it continue I say. Another way to get one over new and old players alike.
