Psssst! You're allowed to cultivate your friends list according to what you want! Everyone is different, you are not selfish.

    Sorry for the rant! :)
I couldn't care less what they tap in my Springfield as long as they visit.

Why are you removing neigbours that graffiti your buildings? It improves your righteousness when you clean them.

I like having graffiti to clean in my SF....keeps the righteousness rating from nosediving! And really unless you visit the forums regularly, most players aren't aware of the glitches.

youre talking about trying not to loss half of a star(.5%). the poster would more than make up for that with all of the xp and cash from the buildings mentioned, if tapped.

He might not be able to visit quickly enough to clear it before it impedes his righteousness rating.

I graffiti if there is absolutely nothing else to tap, but being on the west coast I try not to do it past 6pm. If you're a lower-level player I might grafitti 3 things, but if you are higher level, I try to only tap one and come back.

I also have a number of training walls (maybe 15?) in my town to combat those times when I might not be able to visit other than early morning and late evening. I read that you have 4 hours to clear graffiti. I have not had a drop in righteousness despite being grafitti'd since I added them.

there is always the option of leaving notes/arrows for neighbors.

NOTE: my son has never had time for Internet fan forums. (Work, college, baby.) I texted him to be sure to tap my tile. He texted back. "I went to your town. You have a long Squidport. Tried a whole section of tiles. Which tile did you want tapped?"

Unless our instructions are to tap the FLOATING tile, many people would not even see it in all the visual chaos on and behind our Squidports. My son's a smart kid. Tired, but smart.

With a neighbor like that who needs enemies?
When I visit a neighbor I tap because i want to..not because im forced to and threatened.
Some people take the game way too seriously.

no bashing from me, im sure your boy is book smart but im wondering about common sense. does he have his own squid port? has he ever built a tile? if not i understand. if so...?
all of my neighbors have the things that i am asking them to tap, really there is no excuse but laziness. in fairness if i havent cleared my buildings its my fault but after awhile you start to remember names that always tap lazy locations.

There is one or two of these threads a day. Cant we just sticky one thread for "hardcore" TSTO players where they can all find and friend each other, and complain about normal human beings and the way we casually play TSTO?

I do this too, I don't gave tiles but all other 3 on my landing zone, if you click something else I delete you. It's not harsh, you can always do better

If I am visiting your town and not tapping to your satisfaction, please unfriend the heck out of me! I'd rather people do that than worry that I'm irking neighbors everywhere I go. It's a game, not the last helicopter out of Saigon. I promise I won't be offended if you cut me loose. :-)

I'd love to see the add me threat that read: Looking for neighbors who aren't obsessive with how often you visit (as long as you visit), don't care what is tapped (as long as you tap something), and have a really nice Springfield to share.

My only consolation is eventually all new players turn into old players, with millions to spare, and finally can just enjoy the game. Or choose to ignore it, if they so desire.
