Gift Bags?

As far as I know they can only be dropped in Other Springfield. I tried and that was the only one that worked. It shows a bag icon in the top corner if you can drop any (maximum is 5)

I've been able to drop them on my neighbors with the update. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten very many yet, so I haven't been able to drop very many.

I was able to drop some off at a neighbor. It prompted me to when I entered that town, it hadn't when I had entered other town. That town had a count higher than 0/5 though, like most of the rest.

Right after I posted I logged back on and got dialogue about giving to others. Then I was able to drop bags in towns that have been updated. I just needed to be patient!

It comes up as a quest later on. Lisa and Homer have dialog boxes appear, and you'll get a quest to drop off 3 in a town. I got it right after getting the Holiday Tree.

I haven't been getting many gift bags to drop to neighbors... Am I supposed to find them in other towns? Or when I tap in a neighbors town will the drop like the gift cards do? I'm confused... :?

My quest after building the gift tree was for homer to build a snowman and for lisa to build a snow angel?

Your friends have to have updated their game for you to be able to drop gifts in their town, as far as I can tell

I've managed to give gift bags to two neighbours I think the neighbours must be on the quest where they need to visit friends.

But how do you get the gift bags other than buying them?

I've had three neighbors drop gifts, yet I can't drop gifts in towns that I know for a fact have the update.
Also I only have two gift bags, how do I acquire more? I'm so confused...still.

I got one from the presents that appear under the metal christmas tree.

Once you build your tree and get homer and Lisa going on their quests you're good.. (Also, neighbor needs tree)

But I have more neighbors than gift bags to give out... So I'm afraid we might all experience some favoritism in this update, haha!

They appear at the tree every so often. You also get them from characters' jobs.

I was able to leave a few by using the little icon in the upper right hand corner. I had the option right when I started in Other Springfield, but I wanted to save the few I had for friends.
