I had a cannot connect to the server problem tonight every minute or less I was getting the bart screen on my iPad. I did a uninstall and reinstall but I also logged on my town on my phone(android) while waiting for the reinstall/updates and now its working like a charm. If you have two devices try that, idk if it has to be android and apple but good luck to everyone stuck with the game crashing
I can't clear my requests on my iPhone and two computers (Mac and PC). It simply doesn't load. Does anyone have any idea what to do? :?
I love how people can have EIGHT HUNDRED request. How in the devil you never cleared them. 800!!!

Spoke to soon, it was running great on the ipad for several minutes but now its back to the bart screen every 30 seconds after I get in my town :evil:
I can get mine to load after 4 hours but it only loaded 1 friend request one day and the next day it brought up 9.
I deleted these 10 friend request and on the tapped out game my friend request list went from 746 to 752.
Now someone figure that out.
You can get that many off an "add me thread" in one day at the beginning of an update. How in the devil do we clear them if we can't access them? I haven't been able to access that list since Easter.
I'm not going to get an android or PC device just to clear friend requests. Apple users pay a premium because we want stuff that just works. This game doesn't work and I'm tired of it.
As that isnt going to help many people, I also suggest putting in support tickets. The more people that alert EA / Origin to the issue, the better chance of getting a resolution. I highly doubt they are basing support by reading fan forums. For the game crashing you have to put in an email ticket. While not resolved, I got a email back from a mobile adviser in less than 24 hours. One thing they will request is the devices Mayhem ID. This can be maddening to get, as you will have to log into the game and speed tap to find it before it crashes. The number is huge, so be ready to take a screen grab instead of trying to write it down before crashing. This took many tries.
For the Origin friend list issue, you can actually chat with someone live (when you choose Origin issues, this option becomes available). After chatting, you get a ticket number. You can then go back to the support page and have the ability to get a phone call back. I did this and got a call within 5 mins. They can't help with the game crashing, but will "escalate" the Origin issue to tech support. Again, not yet resolved, but I now have a ticket to follow up on. The past few days were maddening to me. It is beyond frustrating to have the game not working, after investing so much time (and potentially money). Once resolved I will be sure to manage that friend list better, as I had no idea. If you do have access to Android, I will say the update is really great.
After accessing my game from an Android platform I started clearing out 100's of requests (I had over 1k). Once I did this, I opened the Origin desktop and my friend list finally populated, where I was able to delete the rest. The game now works perfectly across iphone, ipad and Kindle Fire / apple/android devices.
So what to do if you don't have an Android device? I know it sounds lame, but I would buy a cheap one, fix your game, and return it. You can return anything to Amazon with no questions asked.

Now it doesn't work on anything for me
