I hope they keep this feature after Christmas. Nice knowing were your landing zone is and not having to worry about it changing because you bought more land.l
I wish they would've had this feature a month ago when I was begging people to tap the tile!
I didn't notice that because I put mine very close to my landing zone. However, I still have to find a place where it looks better. Maybe I'll do a Christmas area.
It would be a great permanent ability to be able to set our own landing zone.
First, if they add land, without this feature, the LZ gets shifted, and some of us have a central area like a park or town hall carefully designed to show our best work.
Second, if someone just designed a unique area they'd like to share, or something humorous, that's not in the center of town (say, Burns' mansion), they could move the indicator for a week or two, or as long as they wish, so every visitor would have the chance to see it.
Third, I'm a Control Freak, and would love to be ... Well ... In Control.
They could offer in the decorations section ... One "focus" square. Variety to match whatever type we need for that spot ... Concrete, grass or road ... With the same ability to put stuff on it as the similar squares do now.
Heck, they've already got the code for the action. Just assign the code to special items and let us choose one.

I making a Christmas area like I did with Halloween and left plenty of room around the present depot so I can click those presents and anyway I have the elf's as well so that helps finding those presents

Very nice indeed. Good find empathy77.
Cant take credit, Pseudonumon noted it, I just liked the idea...

Yeah, I did this right away too and I noticed a few of my neighbours copied it
Oh, oh I might be in for a paddlin'. I dropped a gift off for you and it fell behind Mt. Springfield. I'll try to be more considerate next time.
Naw. The one thing I'm enjoying more than being in control is hunting down my gifts. Seriously. It's a blast. Keep it up!

I then realized I put my present depot in the middle of absolute nowhere and had to change it. Sorry any friends that got an early visit in.
