Thank you. My thought exactly. If you dont like the game or think the update is bad. Yadda yadda yadda then quit playing and let the rest of us enjoy it.
About two hours ago I got another 50MB update and ever since then I get a gift basket every time I log in. Not sure if its related. Really don't see anything that's changed and 50MB is pretty hefty.
How many updates and events have you been here? Everyone of them you dislike.....and yet people still get upset at you If they haven't learnt by now I don't think they will .
I love ur awesome reviews, keep them up. Always enjoy the 60-70 rant posts u receive

I think I figured it out: Simply quitting wouldn't be good enough. Josh's soul is slightly poisoned by every person that enjoys a TSTO update.
They should put a character in and call it Josh jeerer in the game and have Nelson shoot BB's at him for 2 hrs.
Even better: A 45 second task for McBain involving a hilariously one-sided firefight.
"Someone on the forum has a different opinion than me?!? HEATHEN!!! Let's kill him!!" Ever notice how in each of my topics at least 2-3 people agree with me? Should we murder them too?
They gave us all the Halloween community prizes...conveniently just in time. Obviously a fake counter. Now they made the Christmas community prizes literally impossible to get. Hell, we're on pace to not even get the 1st prize. Do you guys really think they'd to through the effort of programming them into the game and for nothing to ever come of them? Obviously not. This is a money making scheme. They will sell them to us after the event is over for donuts. And the genius part is that they get to act like they weren't greedy. "Hey, we offered it for free, but you tappers just didn't tap enough. Sorry!" What a freaking scam. So transparent. I see right through it. I bet the prizes will be limited time too after we fail to get them. EA does it again.
I get the schtick, but the bolded part is pure laziness. You're better than that.

I really can't wait till we get all the community prizes and you are sitting there with nothing to say because you are nothing but a complaining, whining brat that expects everything should be done to simply amuse you !
Unfortunately, he'll have plenty to say. He'll go on and on and on about how the free community prizes suck and he wasted a whole month tapping, blah blah blah. I've never seen anyone with such dedication to something they really don't like very much.
And to those telling me not to play: Why shouldn't I? It's my right to play it. I want improvements though.
Improvements? No you want stuff to complain about. Updates ARE improvements and you just want something to complain about and get attention. The majority of olayers love the update, yet you hate every update EA puts out? What gives you the right to complain using data from a day after the update? EA is working very hard to make e game fun.
Back under your rock, and leave everyone in peace.
If a YOU don't like the updates EA puts out, YOU don't have to play.
In 100% honesty there's very little in the Community prize lineup that thrills me. I'd be happy to have any of them, but I wouldn't exactly mourn any of the ones we don't. So for me it's strictly "meh".

Nobody disputes your right to play so why even suggest it?
You hate every update, so why play it? Even a lab rat will respond to negative reinforcement.

The problem is you used the word "opinion" about stuff that isn't. I notice about two or three people agree with you and that makes no difference.
Ever notice most people in the thread don't agree with you? Of course, that isn't relevant, is it Josh?
I think a company is allowed to make a profit otherwise why exist? You have this juvenile stance that such motivation is insanely greedy.
About opinion: You made a few baseless conjectures and treated them as fact when the truth is nobody knows the answer outside of EA.
The other mistake you make: your assumption that all opinions, and especially yours, are equal.
I thought it was pretty much accepted that the Halloween community goo counter was fake, so why assume anything different about the Christmas one? I only got the update around 1pm yesterday, and I've already got the first 3 individual prizes; that pace is MUCH faster than how it went for me with the Halloween update, and I was playing just as freakishly often then. I suspect the community counter is totally separate (and totally fake), so it's not actually tallying up all the individual players' gift cards / bags / whatever.
Maybe this is all leading up to an xmas eve Grumple tie-in. Like, the Grumple shows up on xmas eve and says we can't get the community prizes because the counter's not high enough, but then his heart grows two sizes and he unlocks them all on Christmas Day. Wouldn't surprise me.

I would not put it past EA to employ this guy. and i would gather a guess that he is doing his job quite well.

Suggesting you exercise your right to not play is absolutely not the same thing as saying you do not have the right to play.
Learn to argue instead of these weak attempts at transforming someone's words into something they did not say and never intended. There are better ways to present your case and you choose the wrong one every single time. It's quite remarkable, actually.
There are enough folks out there with spreadsheets, psychological profiles of their neighbors, and eleventy feeder towns to carry the community. Don't forget about the folks who want to be the founding members of the 100k gift card club! I'm already working on my super-sweet "participant" badge. We all know they're out there, right now, culling their lazy neighbors who STILL haven't started the weeks-long event 24 hours in. Did they drop dead or something? Get detained in North Korea?
Even if the community prizes are intentionally out of reach, so what? EA won't be *forcing* anyone to spend donuts, same as ever. You always have to choose to spend donuts. Just relax and tap happy! I know, it's a strange idea.
ot: i would like to hear your opinion on the spinning wheel
You have to ask? This will approximate his response:
"It's a horrible cash grab! It doesn't give us everything right away for zero donuts! Companies are not allowed to make a profit! I'm too cheap to pay for stuff I want so instead it should be handed directly to me! What EA charges for should match what I am willing to pay for! How dare you say I don't have the right to play this game! You contest my stance? Do I have to remind you that my name appeared in the game this one time so that makes me immune to everything! EA loves me or they wouldn't have done that!"

That's the general idea, anyway.
Yes Man is a must have for any true fan.
But really? Calm down people, crikey!
