No gift cards when I tap handshakes

Yes, I am. I've tested this with a few feeder towns and no building that I tested with gave out gift cards in my own town after friends have visited. The only way I can get gift cards from friends is by either visiting their towns or if they drop off gift bags.

Thanks for the reply I feel a bit better that there's at least one other person having this problem. I guess I'll cross my fingers and hope for a fix although judging from this part of the forum that doesn't seem likely.

I've only ever had cash off the handshakes, should there be gift cards also? I feel I'm majorly missing out here

Handshakes don't give gift cards unless it's from the Xmas tree or eggnog bar

There is little bit of a gift card showing under the handshakes, so I think that we should be still having gift cards from all of them. :?
