I have a strong feeling we're getting the update this wednesday. Why? Think about it, if we weren't, they would have dropped the cool house update this week which would sync perfectly with the upcoming episode. The only reason why they'd drop it 2 weeks prior to the episode is because they're dropping something bigger this week that would have overshadowed that small update if they both dropped this week.

In other words, they pushed the cool homer update a week forward so that it wouldn't drop at the same time as the Christmas update.

Just how I see it.

Well, considering they already announced Dec 5th as the update day, your assumption would be correct.

I really reckon its dropping tomorrow (Wednesday). As I said a few minutes ago on another post, the massive Halloween update came through the app store, as is this one- therefore, we will most likely get it tomorrow

Check out the 'Featured' section of iTunes (I'm in the UK, on an iPad) and they've got a Christmas Apps banner with a new Tapped Out logo (Homer in his green winter puffa & snowflakes) so EA must have submitted the changes & Apple have prematurely displaying the Xmas App image!
