As good as the "neighbourhood switching is...

Prev1
Yours don't go in order? If I start at Other Springfield and keep hitting the Right arrow sign, I just go through my whole list of neighbors, in the same exact order I visited them last time...

I think it's awesome. Skipping to the next town is what you want it to do. It's not like you go into every second town!

Lol why do they even try? Their customers act like rich spoiled brats that expect everything to be catered to their every want and need.. Sorry this might be your only complaint but I feel that over attitude on these forums, even I have a tendency to act that way

The problem I have is because I added people after this new feature was added and it put them all at random spots in the list so now I'm forced to not use the "quick switch" as they are all jumbled up.

I would be nice though if after visiting a bunch of towns via the new next arrow and then exit, it puts you in the queue where the last visited town is, not the first one visited.

Since adding more friends this is almost exactly what the game is doing to me.
It's actually still quicker for me to use the main list to switch neighbours.

so seeing as you've just added friends, by tomorrow everything will be in order. it's not like you'd have this problem everyday

I had the same problem. Though I ended up adding people at 2 in the morning the first night. The next night I was in bed, so now everybody is synced up again. But I still found the arrows useful. it's still quicker to arrow over then to go back out to the friends menu. I just kept arrowing over till I found someone I could tap.

@ aljimo, ITA. I wish when you exited you were on the page of friends you just visited. I kept getting kicked out yesterday so it was a lot of scrolling.

No there won't because I've had this issue for days now. (Since adding friends at the start of the xmas event)

Only way it will "fix itself" is if I ignore everyones towns for 1 day so that everyone is ready to be visited at once.

    Right now I get...

Town 1 = can visit now
    Town 2 = wait 5 hours
    Town 3 = wait 5 hours
Town 4 = can visit now
    Town 5 = wait 5 hours
Town 6 = can visit now
Town 7 = can visit now
    Town 8 = wait 5 hours

This kind of pattern runs right though my list of neighbours list.

I just think that if the "quick switch" took you to the next town with available tasks it would work better then just taking you to the next town in your list regardless of whether you have available tasks to do or not.

I know what your talking about, somehow I wound up visiting people on my list not in order so I have two batches that are out of sync and sometimes find it easier to go back to the main screen. I am debating giving them all time to reset and then doing the first half earlier in the day and the second half later. But I can help but want to get my cards as soon as possible I don't (well haven't yet... Getting darn temping) buy donuts so I want to get all my prizes so I can get more spins on the wheel.

The world wont end if you skip a day, and you should still get all your prizes, provided you have a 100 friends. Go out and enjoy a Fri night, and all will be well tomorrow.

I'm not using the switch either. My neighbors are all over the place so for me it's faster the old fashioned way. I t would be great if it was a smart switch.

It's not about the prizes, I already have all of the personal prizes (32,000 cards and counting right now)

I am just trying to offer a small piece of advice to EA to help them make the feature even better then it currently is (I do still think the feature is awesome)

I am in the SAME EXACT boat as OP... I can't even streamline thru the list WHATSOEVER... So I am taking a night off neighbors just so I can finally go through them in order...

Sorry, I missed a sentence! I meant to say that if you let the groups catch up, then you'll be able to use the switch, and it'll be so much easier!

And I 100% accept that and will do it.

I only intended to give EA a little advice on how to make the "town switcher" even more efficient so it doesn't require the user to "ignore there friends" to let the towns all sync up.

Well, hopefully EA can implement my idea sometime in the future, it would just make switching towns FAR more efficient (I fail to see how that could be seen a bad thing)

Yes, taking a break from your neighbours for 24 hours will fix it but I'm sure EA would prefer it if people didn't have to think that way (after-all they do want people to play the game, not put it down for a day)

My idea would make it so you wouldn't need to wait and wouldn't affect users that have there neighbours already in 100% sync.

I have a problem with scheduling. I wonder if EA could fix it for me.

I had the same issue, my towns were all jumbled up so I had to go back to the main friends screen each time but then I delayed my visit by 4 hours or so and all my towns were in sync again, yay!

    Exactly!
Hopefully EA can fill my request so this will be an issue for no-one. (As small an issue it really is)

Wow that really is horrible. I don't see how you can even log on anymore while bearing such a burden. There really should be a telethon or something for people like you.

Oh wait, there's already dozens of telethons for ****.
