It's a digital representation of a wheel not an actual one and given how woefully inaccurate taps on the screen can be interpreted at times in TSTO, not really surprising.

I wonder if that's what you'll say when it happens to you.
That's because the wheel and the arrow are irrelevant. It knows whether or not you've won before you spin the thing. As soon as you use a coin, it has been decided. It's a glorified mystery box with set odds.
While it is a bit sucky, of course the position of the pointer is not the determining factor as to what you win (like it would be on a real wheel) its merely a graphical representation of a random number generator. You probably lost out by a decimal point, which of course is no comfort at all

Jeez. It's mental the length these logic defiers will go in order to defend EA.

Agree with you here, what it shows it what you should get. I don't care that it was decided before , the graphic should match the result. If it doesn't what's the point of the game? Might as well play with 0's and 1's. And no graphics
EA should be better than that, but we all know they aren't.

It's not "defending EA" to point out that software works differently from a physical wheel.
I agree it's not on, but you have the problem backwards. A real wheel stopping there should give you the building, but in this situation, the wheel is just a visual representation of code. It's not correct to show the wheel stopping on the wrong won item, but that doesn't change which item "should" have been won.
Regardless of which is the cause, it does suck, and it shouldn't be happening.
I probably would have just assumed that people were just complaining until it happened to me yesterday.. I was shocked. The arrow was totally pointing at the snow monster, and it gave me Christmas lights instead. I would have been way more upset if I didn't actually need those lights, but it was still shocking nonetheless, and I can completely understand why people are upset.
This has happened to twice :x This is making me very frustrated as mine hit Clause Co twice and got the Snowmen twice instead of Claus Co! So far i have spun the wheel about seven times and go three building facades and the Marge, Lisa, Maggie, and Grandpa snowmen! I still really need to get Mr.Plow and the Plow King and the Snow Monster Not to mention that i still need the Helter Shelter and the Ice god Sculpture and Claus Co which i should already have! Well we have 22 days in till the event is over at the end if i don't have all of them, then i guess i will just crack in and spend donuts to have them!

I had the same, happen to me. On one of the buildings and ended up with a Lisa snowman.
