Pretty quick actually.
Maybe that's because I have left the rest of my town to be rather plain (hence the comment in my OP about redesigning the rest of my town)

Great question. And the answer may surprise.

Originally I had an 11 deep blue house farm that used that entire side of the map and the forest was next to it.

It took me about 3 days to create the forest and design it how I liked and then when I deleted my house farm it took another 36 hours to move the forest to its current location.

And I agree, it truly is great to see the entire thing in one image.

That forest it great :thumbup: Defo some dedication for planting all those trees

Personal opinion "would" it look better if you took the roads out and put pavements instead? That way you can put more trees covering the pave ways etc

Man oh man. That really is a lot of trees. Looks awesome. However I will not envy you if you ever decide to tear it down.

As I mentioned earlier, I recently moved the entire forest.
Only a week or so ago, that entire side of the map was an 11 deep blue house farm, with the forest beside it.
When I pulled down the house farm, I moved the entire forest.
Tree by tree.

Most forests I have been to all have the same type of tree.
