What do you mean "no ability to log in"? Are you saying that the orange origin login button on the bottom left corner of the login screen is missing?

When I open the game on the ipad it starts over with the whole animation, there is no screen with an origin button on it.

Try closing the game from the multitasking bar.

It saves my other device didn't save my Springfield. I only have the game on the ipad.
