Just tried deleting the app as well as its data and re-installing but got same result.

Completely pointless for me to collect gift cards at this point....

I'd keep at it anyway. Hopefully whatever the glitch is will resolve and you'll get the coins you missed.

Yeah I just don't see a point...I highly doubt even if they do fix it I will get credit for the previous 1000's of gift cards collected.

Yeah this happens. For me I just visited a neighbour and it self corrected. The game will credit you for the coins regardless because it's a much better system than the Halloween one and it seems to keep track of things properly.

Yup, I'm also having this problem, no bonus coins after 32k and the 1000/1000 counter won't change or reset. Annoying.

Luckily I spent donuts to collect all the wheel prizes so it's not a big deal, just another obvious glitch.

The only thing I need from the prize wheel is Clausco and I really don't want to have to spend donuts for a chance to get it.

I wonder if it has something to do with their fix for the bonus goo glitch, in which if you exceeded 2000 (or 1000?) while visiting neighbors it wouldn't apply the excess goo to the next bonus goo level.

Perhaps the glitch now is that if you collect precisely an increment of 1000 GC's, it completes the task and game over. Much worse.

What were you guys doing when you hit the mark? Were you opening gift bags in town? Visiting neighbors? Dispatching elves?

I have had this problem for days now. I am currently at almost 59,000 gift cards and it still says "1000/1000 Done!"

I don't recall to be honest...I think I was visiting friends but can't be sure. Ugh this is frustrating!
