I would like to think it is all chance but ever since I reached 30k I have gotten mostly cash which takes up only 3 spots on the wheel. Not much else to do but keeeep spinning! :D

I'm on 76,000 gift cards and still waiting to get Claus Co, Helter Shelter and the Plow King skin.

At least we've still got a bit of time left to try...

Yes a rigged wheel of misery in an otherwise great update. Hope EA doesn't bring it back EVER!

It is all chance. There's something like a 30% chance of getting money and a 1% chance of getting the ice god or clausco. And with the odds resetting each time, it can take a lot of spinning to clear the prizes. I had 81000 gift cards and had spun it something like 70 times before I got everything, and there are people who have had worse luck than that. So, yeah, it's all chance, just not the chance it may appear to be, because the odds are slanted towards cash. Not even all that much cash. (But hey, still more cash than I tend to get from misery boxes, I guess there's that.)

You can see through the wheel to see the dial on the Yeti, but it gave me cash instead. Bugger this bug!
The same thing happened to me so i contacted EA and they replied to me saying that because on their servers the wheel spins a bit more than what we actually see it registers as what is on their servers rather than what is on our screens (which i think might be a load of crap, but i may be wrong). For the "inconvenience caused by this problem" they very kindly gave me 10 donuts. It may not be much but suppose its better than nothing :). So you might aswell send them a message including the picture that you got of the problem and get 10 donuts. It might even mean that after the extra donuts you have enough to get another premium item or character. I then went on to win the yeti which was the last item on the wheel the next day. Happy days!! :D

An x% chance of this or that is fine for most games of chance... but that is not how a wheel-of-whatever works. The odds of a real wheel should be 1-in-N, where N= number of slots. They could certainly randomize the amount of initial speed on the spin and not make it up to the user to control the speed, but the wheel is certainly not realistic as a wheel really would work.

I agree that the wheel lands on cash a disproportionate amount of time. I've got 2 prizes left and have had over 20 spins without getting them. As for the speed, who knows
Just hope I can clear it soon. I'm sick of doing the 8hr hunting task

sux... probably what is actually happening is the wheel goes with where the "button" is, not where the arrow points, which is cheaping out on the programming probably. not that it's an excuse, but just saying.

I'm so sick and tired of getting $1000. This amount of money does nothing for me. I still haven't got Mr. Plow Homer or Plow King Barney which makes the Plow King Plow a useless prize. No Claus Co. building either. So sick of this wheel.

Well that's a load of ****. I've had the pointer tick onto the next segment and 'shudder' a bit but give me the previous segment's cash prize. I've also had the reverse where it doesn't quite tick over, but shudder, and give me the cash prize in the next segment.

Yeah, that's pretty much the (valid) beef most people have with the wheel. It's not a wheel, it's a mystery box with a spinning animation. I didn't really expect it to act like a real wheel, since it's a program in a game and they can make that do whatever they want. (Which is what they did.) But it does still come down to chance, just a crummier chance than you might be expecting.

80245 Gift cards in and I do not have Mr. Plow or Plow. I'm thinking I wont be getting either in the next 10/ 11 days!!!

After what seems like ages of getting $1000 on the wheel, I finally got the Yeti (as I like to call him)!!
But not before the disappointment of landing on Clausco and getting 50 gift cards instead!

I also decided to spin the wheel with my left hand, and finally my luck changed!

For a wheel of chance it sure loves landing on the same exact cash spot every spin. Its not even trying to hide the fact of randomness I watched it spin land on the same wheel spin it 5 more times and it land on that same spot again and again.

Had cash 8 times in a row but now just got Claus Co ... only Yeti missing from the "must have" collection. fwiw I am at 46,000 and didn't spend any donuts on the wheel.

I just rolled over to 60k cards. I have yet to get Clausco or snowman santas little helper. I must spin 5 or 6 times a day too. I got the Barney Plow King, but I don't even have Barney! Why can't I have him without the Bowlarama?

I have about 55,000 gift cards now and I do not have the Homer/Snowball II snowman, Barney Plow, Yeti, Claus Co. I did get Homer Plow, Helter Shelter, Santa's Little Helper/Grandpa/Bart/Indian God snowman. I have gotten countless numbers of 1,000s, gift cards, and Maggie/Marge/Lisa snowmen that I've had in my town for a year now.

    Pretty ridiculous.
