Help retreiving Maude Flanders after leaving map

I thought so too and stored it but there was no message about her and she did not reappear after putting it back. I'll give it a few hours and hopefully she will be back.

Nope - Maude is a stand alone character like the dolphin.

What happens if your use the new character finder thing and cycle through to her?

Kick her bum when she gets back. That will teach her to stay in town.

Wonderful in theory, but that finder only shows characters who have been cleared by the player to take on a new task. Which doesn't happen without tapping the thumbs-up over their head. So technically, for the OP, Maude is not yet cleared, so not showing on that finder at the moment.

The finder is awesome. There are a few features I hope they can get to at some point in the future.

This is exactly the issue with the finder right now otherwise it would be nice to just cycle through and find her again. I will check my town in a few to see if she magically returned.

Why not click on the task in the taskbook? It cicles through the charcters still doing the task...

Well two hours later Maude just showed up from the same direction she left as if nothing happened.

Yeah, EA is aware of this problem now and the game respawns all your characters on your map after whatever length of time. Kind of a part fix (like resetting your Squidport tiles) but that's what EA resorts to nowadays.

Characters only appear in the task book if it's part of an official one-time quest (e.g. Get revenge on Homer). But if that quest has finished and you're just sending the character to earn money and XP, then they won't appear.

Yeah, bit of an odd one this. Had Kang and Luigi wander of the right hand side of the map, heading into spaces I can't even buy the land for and on the opposite side, watched Bumblebee Man happily walk off the squidport, onto the ocean I hadn't yet bought and vanish.

All came back when I was looking to tap everyones tasks though
